i've had the same feeling, but i'm still own it. I've purchased an esprit 120ED with 0.77x reducer to forget all tilt problems from time to time... so I'm planning to mix subs from both rasa and esprit: nebulosity from rasa, stars from esprit... wish me luck :)
You are going backwards: you should have *started* with the gt81 and then moved to RASA once you’d learned all the ins and outs of this complex hobby. Good luck!
Oh man I’ve been in telescopes for years. I had the rasa since I was so heavily into eaa but then I started to dabble in true astrophotography. So yeah I was in a unique spot.
