That wheeled island is brilliant! I see these things with their sinks in their islands, and it makes the whole huge thing seem small. Awesome.

Wish that hitch was a feature on all modern day light fifth wheels. Be nice for short bed towing and I prefer a gooseneck

It was a huge point on these. When this series of RVs was basically ended & replaced by a "conventional" fifth wheel the hitch system was lost to the market. Which is a bummer.

Very true, this 5th wheel can actually be towed by a short bed half-ton (given proper payload capabilities) because of the hitch and curvature of the front corners.

Very nice! Really like living room & kitchen, esp the movable island. With the extra width maybe island could go east to west? And still have room for square dancing? 😄 🙋🇨🇦

It's interesting that you've got this and the shorter 2013 version at the same time. Personally I'd rather have this one, 4' longer but that pantry space would be great for full time living. However if you're just weekend camping the 31' length on the other one would fit into more spaces. That's The great thing about the RV industry in the US, lots of choices!

It is odd how things seem to happen in waves. Have you ever noticed how we'll get a string of late model/low use used RVs at one time, then a string of rough-stuff like handyman's specials, then a string of 5+ year old stuff in near-flawless shape? I've seen it happen year after year and never understood it.
