Waffles is a go getter pony. He’s up for the challenge of a hard days work. Waffles is not for a timid rider, as he likes to get up and go, especially when doing speed events in the arena. Our son can ride him ok, but he gets nervous with Waffles excitement in the arena. One thing waffles does not like is a back cinch that is tight. He wants it loose, we just don’t use one with him. Waffles does have arthritics in his front left knee, but that does not slow him down. He will keep up with the biggest of horses, he has a fast walk for a little guy. Waffles previous owner used him in the badlands of South Dakota on their ranch, he has a good foot on him. We thought our son would be ok with him but Waffles was too much of a step up pony for him.
