To the person that reads this, I ask the Lord to bless them and their family, to cure them of every sickness and pain, to fill their emptiness with love joy and peace, to rebuke the enemy from their lives. " ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND SAVE YOU, AND TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS, FOR WE GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO THE LORD. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!
I really have to remember to grab a hanky before watching images of people expressing and sharing pure love and joy. Something about seeing a child welcoming dad home does it to me every time, without fail. Excuse me while I dry off.
Wow. 10 months later from when I originally saw this video and still brought me down to tears. A grown man... This is amazing. The look on everyone's face when they saw their hero come home... Amazing...
I watched this 12 years ago, when I was living with my 4 year old son in a tiny room without a job. All I had was his love and his wonderful smile...I was rich.
You have no choice than crying. You see the happiness on the faces of this little children and you are just so happy for them for having their father or mother back.
Beth B: Yes. I do think that the overwhelming emotion one feels in watching these very moving moments, does implicitly include, maybe subconsciously, the knowledge of what you are alluding to here.
My dad ( a german soldier ) died in Afghanistan. He was one of 52 dead german soldiers. To see these returns of soldiers make me feel happy and sad at the same time.
My dad died when he was only 37 years old, in Iraq. I miss him everyday, when i see these returns i feel somebody will knock my doors and he'll be here..
I can't. The happiness in their faces when they see their loved ones safe and home just gets me every time. My best wishes to all those who are still waiting for their loved ones and to those who never saw them again. All the love.
There is no greater feeling in this world then coming home after serving a combat deployment and seeing your friends and family again. Semper Fi my brothers. 3rd Battalion 4th Marines
When I was a U.S. Marine from 1975 to 1987 we never had the luxury of the internet to see how our Family was, but regularly made only phone calls to keep up with them. Today is so much different from then!
For me, there is nothing which is more emotional than a soldier who come home to his family. It's so sad but great too! There are no words for this. I'm no american but I love you guys. I don't like people who say that you're murderer because you aren't. In every country are bad people. I hope for every soldier only the best! Sorry for my english - I wouldn't write here because it's so bad, but I have to.
Hans Dampf men does cry, everyone does that. u got a problem if u think the things u do makes u a man. like crying, i like crying to something nice, it reminds me that im a good person. well, i don't think u ment it like that but... got to say it. not trying to be an asshole, so stay friendly :) and enjoy the video :)
Just WONDERFUL! I loved this even though I cried through most of it. These people leave their families to serve our country. Thank you to all serving or have served. God bless you all.
How could anyone dislike this? Every human being can relate to seeing loved ones again and the hope it gives us. You don't need to be American to appreciate this video. Much love to all those who set aside their families for their country wherever you are.
One of the most incredible videos on RU-vid. I have been watching this video for years. Thank you so much for creating this and allowing us to share in that magnificent feeling. We are all honored by these soldier's sacrifice.
I love this video! I have watched it many times. My dad is an Army Veteran. My little brother Blake is in the Army but is on his short honeymoon right now before he gets shipped out again. And my little sister Kaylee is also in the Army. She just completed basic training a couple of months ago. She is now at the new base. I pray for their safety and miss them. But most of all I am very proud of them! Not all heroes wear capes!
I had so goosebumps & tears of happiness in my eyes. All of my respect to all this heroic women's & men's, I wish in Germany would it be the same. Just love this video & this phenomenal song for this tribute. Great work.
One thing to remember when watching this video: There is no colour; there is no difference; these are men and women who were willing to GIVE THEIR LIVES, for the same cause, and they came home. There's nothing but love here; regardless of colour or race. It's love. And it matters.
I have served for 20 years in the Army. There is no feeling like coming home after being gone for 12 months and seeing your family for the first time...The feeling is indescribable!!!!
This made me cry more than I'd like to admit. I'm happy for those of you whom have had the opportunity to see your folks return. It has to be the greatest feeling ever. For all the soldiers that still are not home, I will pray for you. God bless all of you heroes.
I can't begin to comprehend the bravery these men and women give... honestly... it's so admirable. Don't for a second take it for granted. These men and women are heroes.
I can't count the number of times I've watched this video over the last 7 years. I did 2 deployments to the Gulf and thus 2 homecomings to deal with. I don't know if I should be sad that I never had anyone waiting on the pier when my ship came back, or happy that I never had to force anyone to wait at home wondering if I was coming back home alive or dead. And this song fit the video perfectly.
This sht made me cry like a lil baby this is amazing just imagine the feeling of those kits those moms, wifes , sisters it's amazing thanks God . From COLOMBIA 👍
Someone told me to watch this without crying and I was okay for about a minute and a half. When it got to the little girl at 1:30 it was all downhill from there. Thank you to the men and women who serve overseas and to the families of these people... Wow...
Yep. ✔️ Still makes me cry I’ve been watching this video for years and just came across it again. 1 million of those views might just be mine. The song is haunting and the reunions bittersweet 🥺
In 2006 my brother came back from the Iraq War he was 24 had a family and had children. When he came back his son who was 2 years old was going crazy waiting for his dad. He saw a man in a army suit and ran toward him and yelled Daddy that man wasn't his dad he just remembered the uniform not his face. So I know it's nice to see people get back together but you have to remember all the time those people missed and painful hours waiting so long wondering if they would ever come back. All the birthdays the missed and all the anniversary's they missed. When I graduate from high school I was so angry my brother couldn't make it I got tired of him and his dam career. But then I had to remember that's the sacrifice you have to make.
What gets me is the tears of joy and the looks you see on some of these kids faces. you know its an emotional reunion for such a young child to react that way.
No matter what, the result of these videos ends in tears somehow. Either tears of sadness for the soldiers that don't come home or joy for those that do. War and destruction bring tears to people, no matter the outcome.. It's just the result
The sad ting is that this was has claimed over a million iraqi civilians and set the country back 100 years. The sad thing is invading a country on the false intenses of that country is threatening america when in fact it wasn't and even when evidence are presented that the ones that were pushing for war were lieing the president can simply just shrug his shoulder and say, hmm "yeah ok but atleast we fried the people of a horrible dictator and brought these poor folks democracy. Yeah that was worth the deathpool that supersedes the deathpool of the iraq/iran war (also founded by the US, where they sold weapons to both parts!), kuwait war (where the us both encouraged the kuwaitis to become independent from iraq and iraq to reclaim it!) the iraqi civil war that occurred after the kuwait war where the civilian freedom fighter were 1 city away from achieving total victory, namely baghdad (the capital), when the US interfered and crushed the rebellion, in the one hand you want him removed, you go to war against him and in the second you support him? you crush the civilians, the very people you know claim want to help? where was this in 91??, the US helped saddam to crush the uprising but kept an no fly zone over the kurds whilst leaving the majority of the iraqis, namely the shiats to their faith, for slaughter, 150 000 iraqi went "missing" then, and yet this was has caused more civilian casualties then all of those wars put together. The sad things is these soldier are dieing so that company like haleburton making billions and the people are none the wiser worrying more about their right of carrying a machine gun...
@@karnaag the bloodiest you say? 🤔 😂 yeah ofc because Christianity is a religion of peace huh? 😂 and what does my name have anything to do with what us have done in Afghanistan and Iraq?
@@karnaag @Mohammed has a right to be sad the US invaded. Blame Cheney for feeding Bush falsified reports of weapons of mass destruction. There were none. People died on both sides for nothing. There is certainly no reason to be rude.
This brings me back to when my dad was in the Air Force and would deployed 6-8 months at a time. The emotions I felt when he finally came home are hard to describe.
Idc how much time passes. This video breaks me every time. Salute to all the soldiers airmen marines sailors coastguardsmen that have been fortunate enough to come home to your families! And Least we forget the ones that didn't!!
0.36 gets me every-time the little girls subtly asking 'daddy?' In hope that it is him. Must be so hard for the family's of all soldiers serving away. God bless them all xx
love the video of the soldiers home comings a lovely surprise for all the children. How can any one not like it! Come home safe to all our serving men and women
In Afghanistan,we fight together, these men are our brothers in arms. Our families and yours cry the same tears of joy or sorrow. We love you.GROS BISOUS DE FRANCE.
We owe our troops everything, god bless them and their families for sharing them with us all. I cry with joy every time i see this knowing that we have such selfless people for our soldiers. Hope they all come home safe!
If you ever need a reminder of how short life is. How many people don't get a chance to see tomorrow. to see their kids grow up, and have kids of their own. This video is touching for those reasons alone. It has nothing to do with military members. Just human life is so precious. Love life and love each other people.
The only reason for not liking this video would be because not every soldier gets to come home whole and safe. May God bless and keep those who fight for freedom.
