good for sticking up for yourself. I know it is hard to loose someone in the army I have lost about 10-12 cousins because they fought for other peoples asses even when they don't deserve it. thank you for serving our country. live long and prosper
thank you all. these places they fight are rough I have lost more cousins than I can count. it means a lot that for once they are not given crap for fighting. just look at all the comments. all they do is give crap to those that fight to free everyone else. Thank you to all of our service members and their families making the sacrifices every day. I was in the US Army for 10 years, and serving our country is a piece of cake compared to the time we are separated from our families. And what the families go through and sacrifice is also service to our country. God bless you all.

America is an idea. It's believing in freedom and equality. Justice and truth. Kindness and generosity. If you believe in those principles and feel pride in seeing the U.S.A Soldiers and the love they have for their country and can appreciate it, then you're American. He actually made it pretty funny. However he has a point like everyone else commenting. There is always black and white, nothing that is done is totally right or wrong. There are two reasons we are in the middle east, 1. to fight aggressive extremists. 2. strategic interest, AKA oil.
Units that were originally cavalry, like the 7th Cavalry Regiment, are authorized to wear the slouch hats. I once saw a military funeral detail from a cavalry regiment. The dress uniform included a slouch hat, riding jacket, knee boots, and spurs.

I am an European. I am also one who is touched to see the the safe return of a soldier from Afghanistan. I am touched to see the expression of the daughter so emotionally pleased to have her dad return home especially by a surprise visit. But I do not share with the many patriotic views expressed here about American soldiers fighting for our freedom! What freedoms are your soldiers fighting for? What democracy are you fighting for? The war on terrorism has created the passing of legislations such as the Homegrown and the Patriots Acts which have eviscerated the constitution and your civil liberties. Any American can now be incarcerated indefinitely without recourse to a trial. The signing of the NDAA has given the power to the president to assassinate anyone anywhere in the world including Americans. Is this constitutional? The hypocrisy of the American government has never been so blatant: she claims to fight terrorism and yet she supports and arms al qaeda terrorists in Syria and elsewhere! The crisis in the Ukraine has been caused by the American government having organized a coup which has toppled a legally elected Ukrainian government and allowed nazis, fascists to gain control of the present Ukrainian government. In short, the American government is supporting nazis and fascists in the Ukraine. Americans live in a nation where they are blinded by propaganda media lies which keep you in complete ignorance. Wars have nothing to do with fighting for democracy or freedoms, - especially when you no longer have a democracy - but everything to do with the control of oil resources and for the IMF to destroy financially other nations that are targeted by corporations. Like General Wesley Clark revealed in public, it is the Pentagon's intention to invade other countries as part of their agenda and I quote: "This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran." He made this statement about thirteen years ago! So, naive Americans talk about soldiers fighting for "our freedoms" when they should be concerned about the freedoms of these countries that are being invaded, bombed and attacked and families being killed for what? You invaded and destroyed Iraq on a pack of lies and Bush can be legally indicted for war crimes. So, wake up
My only problem with these videos is the fact that if the family member/daughter, or in this case a teacher, happens to be hot then the video gets like 50% more views than the other ones.
