How did you get the blade to look “silvery” and the handles to be yellow? And do you know how the gold ended? (18k, 14, 10k??) Cool project. Hard to buy scrap online without being scammed with gold plated crap.

The point was to make a solid gold knife and test it. There was no waste, these were all scrap. Scrap meaning it would have been melted down to make more gold. I did the same thing AND made a video ilto entertain. So actually I achieved more 👍🏻
