Great examples. With the addition of the insert point, this unit could be all you need on the mix bus. Attractive price point as well. £1500 here in the UK, which seems very reasonable for what you're getting.

Wow just wow SSL you have basically taken Rupert Neve MBP and blown it out the water for a much better price point and threw more useful features into it. Someone slap me. This is pretty epic folks. Sure you don't get a classic bus comp across all frequencies on two channels but thats why I have my SSL G-series XLogic bus comp for the insert. Soooo, my evil plan here... Taking advantage of the inserts with my SSL G bus compressor and my UBK Fatso (with the side-chain utilized via a cheap 31 band EQ to hit the comp at different frequencies and to have separate comp threshold control). These units inserted together into the Fusion or inserted separately would be nuts! Beautiful harmonic distortion grit vibe my head might explode from all this analog goodness potential!!! If I understand this correctly, I could insert SSL G bus comp for say the MID and also simultaneously insert the Fatso for the SIDES...or vice versa!????? Holy crap if thats true I need a drink thats going to be analog fantabulous! Where is Gregory Scott of UBK I gotta hear his take on this evil plan and SSL can you take my money now, just take it..
