Solidworks assembly tutorial 06| How to make parts in assembly mode? 

When placing the component for the first time turn your coordinates on so you can see the origin it will snap to orig if you get close - you don't have to readjust the constraints. That works if you model your part in the orientation and keep in mind the coordinate system. otherwise, yes float the component and set constraints like shown.

How did you open new part on this modelling i couldnt understood.

How do i start if i want to modify an imported assembly example: assembly of a knive, now i want to modify the blade, how do i do that do i need to save the assembly as parts ? how do i go beyong direct editing?

Not sure why the first part you go pretty slow but then when the someone would struggling to figure out how to make an assembly, you rush through it?
