Hand drawn sketches are great👍

Hi, Thanks, Hand sketching is not my strong point. I just need enough information to be able to create the component from them. So I try to make the clear as possible without spending to much time at them. Thanks for the comment.

nice turtorials. As a student of many things i can give you some advices and i would like because i appreciate your job. If you will use much smaller monitor resolution your software menu will be easer to see to viewers. You do it fast because you are professional we are learners, if you make longer videos and wait ~~ 0.5 second between hover over icon and click item this will make incredible change. Because its hard to notice what you click and cannot slow down video because of its framerate. I believe those are good advices. Thank you

I like the construction line trick of centering the slots. Pretty slick!

Hi Tambaurora, The construction line trick is very handy at times. I work in the area of large machine design and the assemblies can be easy to get lost in. The construction line trick allows for fine adjustments during the layout stages while still fixing each component and limiting undesired movement. There's lots of little tricks to learn in such a large software, everyone has the own, learnt from someone else along the way and ready to show to the next person. Thank you for the comment Tambaurora, it is much appreciated.

Hi, Martin. Good tutorial. I have just liked and subscribed. The only problem imho is that "music" in background. Make it more silence, or turn it off. Despite it's not loud, I would like to focuse on what you are saying rather, than fighting against that noise. Anyway - very useful video. Thank you.

Hi Heavy Storm. Thank you for the like, sub, comment and suggestion. I think background sound is unnecessary at this stage but when starting off recording yourself, it feels very bare without it. I will concentrate on what i am saying and create more engaging dialogue to improve videos. Thanks again.

did you make this part? I would like to see the process from design to finish

Hi Jason, I didn't make this component it is the end of a standard cable tray. I would think that it is a punched out component, then rolled through a die and finally the jog added. Since it is mass produced it would be done with a CNC manufacture line. I am a Metal Fabricator by trade and we would have made some bespoke items using the same principles but with workshop equipment such as plasma and brake press etc. Saying that the material would usually be heavier - under 1mm material is very hard to work with except with the suitable equipment and set up. As the channel advances and grows I will be doing projects from the design process to physical prototype in a workshop environment. It might be of interest. Thank you Jason for the comment, it is much appreciated.

How did you come up with that shape and design?
@skeltondesignsolutionsltd

Hi Russell, The shape is the end part of a cable tray, I though it was a good drawing exercise. You can purchase the cable trays from your local electrical wholesale and lots of company's produce them. I used it to run around the workshop walls and then cable tie the electrical cables to it.
