This took me a long time, at least it seems like it did. But it was well worth the effort. Thank you for you videos. All of them. I am going to make a print, and maybe an exploded view of it just for experience sake. Thanks again. The mates is what I need more work on, well everything really. Keep up the good work.
I have a different opinion about your tutorials this is my 3rd tutorial. I've gone through two pain stacking tutorials before and I cant keep on going this way... lets start with the positive feed back 1 its kind of simplified... I easily get you. actually that's all about it. When we go to the parts you want to improve .... The main problem I see is that you really luck enough preparation for the tutorial you should seriously think about it. You know how many man hours are wasted when you make mistakes and correct them minutes latter... let's do our own mistakes confusion while learning is real not cool... I'm done here but seeing your dedication making all this videos just felt to tell you on what you have to improve... good luck.👍
At Assembly when you mate chuck jaws and spindle screw to rotate by screw, you should uncheck the reverse option because it causes that one model gets to another.
This should have been a 3 jaw chuck. The whole point of a 4 jaw chuck is that you can rotate stock material in a non concentric manner where the jaws are independently moved. That being said... A great tutorial.
Good friend, at minute 4:06 when you are doing the sketch of the hole where the claws slide, you do not define the lines that give the thickness so you can not continue doing the tutorial, or I am wrong ? If you do not define the width of the claws when you go to join it will not fit the claws in the hole. Or could you give me the link of the map you used to make the plate and there's a debate about that? regards!
Thanks for these great videos. However, I have a problem generating the 13:59 minute cut. You say 63.50mm and, to me with that quota, I "invade" the drills that remain attached to the cut. I use Solidworks 2016; Is that a problem? Thank you again for your videos
