Creating Rib on circular edge using loft boss base command is explained in this SolidWorks video tutorial.
Sketch is use to generate the two projected lines on the cylindrical surface and loft boss base command is used to generate the volume in between the sketch and the cylindrical surface.
Rib Feature. This tool allows you to create ribs, or small raised portions, along a selected face or edge. Not only does this give your project extra support, but it can also help to improve its overall appearance. Here's a quick guide on how to create a Rib Feature in SolidWorks:
1. Start by selecting the face or edge where you want to add the rib.
2. Then, click on the "Features" tab and select "Rib."
3. In the dialogue box that appears, you'll need to specify the parameters for your rib. This includes the width, height, and angle.
4. Once you're happy with the settings, click "OK" to create the rib.
And that's all there is to it! Creating a Rib Feature in SolidWorks is a quick and easy way to add extra support and strength
Rib is a sketch-based feature similar to Extrude and Revolve, except it extrudes in two directions at once to provide support for unstable designs.
Ribs are commonly used in cast and injection molded components because they allow for a more consistent wall thickness across the part, which is beneficial to the casting and injection molding processes.
Start a drawing on a plane that is positioned at a location where you want to place the rib, draw an open sketch of the form you want to generate a rib from, and then activate the rib feature to create the rib with the thickness, extrusion direction, and other advanced settings that you specify.
Rib is an extruded element that is made up of open or closed drawn curves.
Between the contour and an existing portion, it adds material of a set thickness in a specified direction.
You may make a rib out of one or more drawings.
You may also use draft to construct rib characteristics or to draft a reference shape.
Recognizing and using the rib feature
Ribs are reinforcing structures that aid in the joining of two sides.
We'll learn what ribs are and how to make them with SOLIDWORKS' rib feature in this session.
We'll also understand how SOLIDWORKS perceives the rib feature's construction of ribs.
Ribs: An Introduction
Ribs are welded support structures that are used to connect various components or pieces.
Ribs are commonly found in plastic things such as toys.
They're also present in a lot of building constructions.
Two forms, one without ribs and the other with ribs, are seen in the following screenshot:
Ribs with a thickness normal to the drawing plane and material that extends planar to the sketch can be used.
Ribs can also have a thickness that is parallel to the sketch plane and expand material in a normal direction.
In molds and castings, ribs and webs are frequently employed.
They're widely utilized in plastic items to add stiffness and avoid warping.

Ribs might have a thickness that is parallel to the sketch plane and expand material in a normal direction.
Rib networks are a series of thin-walled supports that intersect.
Using an open or closed profile, define the cross section of a rib or web.
The profile can be projected to the next level.
face, thickness, and direction (to determine a rib or web form).
Webs can have elements like a draft or a boss.
In a drawing, provide numerous intersecting or nonintersecting profiles to build a rib network.
The whole network has the same thickness and, if requested, the same draft.
This section contains the following topics:
Create a rib that runs parallel to the sketch plane.
To draw a plane, create a rib normal.

no brother you can't. the geometry of the rib will not be perfect along the circular profile.

You can just convert entity instead of offseting it to 0.0
