can anyone give me a hand? i want to export the video from the point of view of the camera but i cant, i have already activated camera views but i get the video from the normal point of view
Wow, very informative video! Thanks so much! My question to you, when I go to add a camera, I see lights, direction, and scenes, but when I expand the folder, I only have directional 1,2 and 3 and Ambient. I have no option to "Add" a camera... am I missing some part of the software?
M having some problem. Camera automatically rolls while traveling through a path. M tired of finding, wats causing it to rotate it undesirably.Dear sir, kindly tell wts wrong with my procedure.
How do i make it save the video in camera view? Everytime i change it and save it it just has a the starting view for the whole video. p.s great tutorial!
Very nice tutorail. But I miss only one thing: When you want to save .avi, the view changes to random position and not camera view (you can see this when he clicks on ''Save animation'' at 06:27 To fix this problem you have to select Key point at ''Orientation and Camer View'' row (that is above of ''Lights, Cameras and Scene'' row), right click on key point and change it to camera vew. Sorry for my bad english
Thank you very much sir. I really wanted and fatigued of searching of that how to create camera view animation video. Hi Eliuth... thanks for sharing this video with us much appreciated, however l have one issue... my camera does not follow my sketch path and its frustrating me because lve watched your video over and over and followed instructions step by step, but still my camera does not follow the path that was sketched.. What am l doing wrong??? Please help thanks in advance.
Eliuth Cruz Where do you right click? I don't see this menu anywhere wherever I right click or whichever button I click ? Maybe add description to image. I'm running SW '14 Own answer: Disable View key creation
By the way You can use the camera view for walk through the assembly and to edit the part from its interior. Just create a camera with necessary setup, switch off "lock camera" button, and you can switch to the camera view at any moment from the view-display-camera view to edit assy or part
Hi, Thanks for the tutorial. I have created a camera path in a separate sketch. When I jump into the camera settings SW shows there is a sketch, but it does not show the sketch itself. Therefore I cannot select it for my camera to follow. Any ideas on why it disappears as soon as I go into the camera settings?
I love the video, however, I am using Solidworks, 2006. I cannot find the motion study tab. What would I do in tis case. Look forward to hearing from you so I can try this process out. Regards Con
I missed a step somewhere... I see the camera POV but when I hit play, it jumps out to an iso overview and only shows the camera moving through the path.. Any ideas? Great video thanks! Subscribed!
Never mind I got it to work, but I do have some parts of the model looking transparent. It only shows in motion feature, is anyone else having problems in that area?
as I noticed a lot of people had problem with this, so please give me or anybody else who did an explanation, so the others can see the comment while checking this video
@SJester81 and I'm stuggling with the same problem. My deadline is in one week though, but I've tried to solve it for a couple of weeks too. I'd like to change between different cameras during the animation, but it doesn't seem like it's possible. To make it use one of the camera views, you may right-click on the camera and select "camera view" AFTER you've started the rendering process. The first frame that's rendered will be wrong though...
I have a problem: After I complete the sketch of the path, it is then not highlighted on the piece, therefore I cannot select it during the setting of camera parameters as a path to follow... How comes?
I am using SW 2014 and I am trying to create a fly-through. I followed your video and I have encountered a problem. When I chose the Top Plane to set my spline, the plane always sets up below the assembly. I try to raise it up to the middle of the assembly, but it will not budge. I cannot move the assembly, so I am at a loss as to what to do. Please help, if you can as I can find NOTHING from SW on this. Thanks
