Great video .........🙂 This time I really liked the way you speak out the each steps instead of just demonstrating the design..... I think it is a good way which helps the learners to get something out of the video... This design is damn cool Keep it up
It's a good demonstration for the design of blades , but I have a question , how to ensure that blades won't slide down the pole ,and I think the pole should be rotating with the blades so as to rotate the generator.
Hi sir,let me ask you. I have done the whole design but in the end in the motion study my turbine does not rotate. Can you think what I have done wrong?I am beginner so even the simplest direction or suggestion can help me.Thank you very much
Hey Giwrgos, it is tough for me to diagnose your issue without any extra information about the issue. Although, I would strongly recommend going through the steps shown again and checking for the mates, components selected, motion study settings, etc. You can watch Solidworks Motion Study/Animation tutorials on YT to get a better understanding.
Hey Kabir, Do you have any idea about softwares which can help in running simulation? I wish to run simulation for Vawt design to have some idea about the RPM/torque achieved at corresponding wind speeds... Could you suggest?
I had rather have you select the circle itself as a reference for the circular pattern, works like a charm all the time. If you still want to do it with the centre try playing with the property manager and select this specific sketch, or use construction lines to draw mutually perpendicular diameters thus exposing the centre, etc.
@@MakewithKabir just to add on, what did you press from 7:28 to 7:30? My circle is somewhat missing, idk what to take reference from when doing the circular pattern haha
@@giwrgoslepipas4041 Since this is a persisting confusion, I will retry the whole thing and get back to you ASAP! Do check over here on the coming Monday. Cheers!
Sin embargo, una turbina eólica con velas es mejor. Empieza a trabajar con un viento de 2 metros por segundo. Y cuando las velas son caras, puedes trabajar en la tormenta.
I can not say for sure, will make a video addressing this issue regarding Wind Turbines and their impact on the surrounding flying creatures for sure! Please subscribe and click the bell icon so that you can be notified. Cheers!
I'm sorry to be negative but this is a really dreadful example of BAD DESIGN work! FIrstly, the 3-blade final structure is woefully inefficient for a vertical-axis turbine and the individual blades are symmetrical - WHY? It's much better to have one side flat to create effective lift. Secondly, even if the design-concept were perfect, the execution in Solidworks was terrible! Creating massive file sizes by wasteful use of multiple PLANES, using LOFTS instead of simple rotations to create solid bodies and multiple extruded-cuts were most could be done from one sketch. Why make it so difficult? Why make the resulting files so huge when the object created is really very simple?
