thanks for the video.. couldn’t find this game anywhere. My dad plays this and calls it century solitaire because it takes you a century to beat it. He’s played it all his life and finally got it to one stack for the first time ever. He’s 65 years old. Was taught this game by his grandpa when he was a kid. It was like hitting a hole in one or something in our house. A truly magical moment
I learned to play this recently but how I learned was to start with just one card and put down as you go along, not starting with six cards layed out. I would think it doesn't really matter, maybe my way makes it a bit more risky as you don't know what's coming next. The other thing is, I think you could score yourself by - 1 from the total piles left. And play against another person with their own deck.
Thanks for putting this one up, nice and easy to learn but I don't think I'll ever win with one stack left..keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing what's next.
Love this game! I wonder what the best strategy is for number of cards to deal out. I like to deal a few more than just one even if there's a move I can make because occasionally there's a better move to come.
Found the rule pdf on wikipedia. This seems the lax interpretation. And still... I would add more options. knowing in advance I have a 99.5% chance of not winning, starting this up will take some courage.
do you know of any games with a standard playing card deck that have role playing games in them?( preferably with no dice or paper) like a dungeon crawler or roguelike perhaps
