Hello Ross,been watching you for a couple of years now. Happy to see that you have mellowed out in the last couple of vlogs. Thank you! My dad bought his first tractor in 1948 a standard 70. Was his favorite tractor. He also had a 60 row crop that ran on kerosene and gas which I have discovered is very rare. I am 63 years old but still remember driving those old tractors.

Ross success was just around the corner. It was great to see the hitch responding after all your work. During my dealership days we came to identify that check valve as the hammer valve, because we had a farmer that learned one time that if the hitch didn’t work and he hit that valve plug with a hammer the hitch would begin to work. Of course his plug was all beat up from him beating on it, so thus we always referred to that valve as the hammer valve. Now you know where the hammer valve is located!

I just clean up the rusted area and braze weld a washer over the place. The brazing helps to stop any further corrosion where it gets bonded to the rim. Then like you, smooth it out so the tube don't get damaged. Can't afford to replace every thing with new on these projects.

Getting nearer to the finish line!!! I've used a similar technique on rims (but OSHA doesn't need to know) LOL. Seems a waste to scrap a rim if only the valve hole is rusted out. Glad the valve fix resolved the issue.

Hey Ross there's a guy here in Nebraska that has a 1365 Oliver that has front wheel assist and all four tires are the same size and it was built by Oliver and he collects only unusual Oliver's and he has guit a collection

Either is good as long as the motor has been overhauled correctly
