Hi Barney, thanks for popping by, I've slept on that same beach in a Dutch Army Bivvy at least 3 times and hardly anything noticeable moisture wise, I agree I think it was condensation it was very damp out, a little wind over night and it was open a little... Thanks Gaz, yeah it's just a bit featureless and boring there now, I am doing another one there over the summer with Dan from CampLife BushCraft at some point but that may be it, the trouble is trying to find beaches close by that have no houses near here in the SE of England! Will do, got a couple of new ones to try, although I don't do beer reviews as a rule. I need to get up to the lakes this year and do some proper views camping... such a long drive though... like 6 hours!

@@BurtonOutdoors the peak district is closer , some beautiful places there, you should do Bamford edge mate it's stunning, not hard to walk to either from bamford village or kinder scout from Edale, what I've seen of it it looks a great place to camp. 👍

Hey Andy, thanks for popping by mate, Rick lives about 10 mins drive from that spot too! It takes me 40 mins to drive there. Your coastal locations back home will be awesome and at least have some features!! It's a bit soul less that beach but it's easy, no grief ever and very quiet. Cheers mate. Lee

Do you know some of my friends have NEVER seen the sunrise!! I've seen hundreds over the years, before the internet and mobile phones!! I love a sunrise so much, how can people go through life without at least getting up early once to see one. Glad you liked the viddy Andy. Lee

Thanks for the nice comment, yes I've had the DD bag for well over a year now, I was hoping they would make one without the foot box as I don't use it as it's supposed to. The bivvy bag I was overall impressed with. I live near Gatwick so I can get to most beaches within an hour, but they all have houses or too many people close by any suggestions?Thanks for watching. Burton Outdoors nice one Lee.. I dont often get a chance to get to the coast so its always nice to see the sea. My grandparents lived down in Gosport and Lee on Solent so its very similar scenery, with the pebbled beaches where we would go on our summer holidays as kids👍

Yeah my DD jura 2 is water resistant and the foot box is waterproof... that's prob why I didnt get wet feet!! I reckon the dampness was condensation, it's a good bivvy and half the weight of the Dutch, but very claustrophobic. Thanks for watching Dan. Lee

Hey Chris... it's wine in there, if you notice on all my camping vids I have a plastic bottle of wine, I decant out of the glass bottle to save weight 👍It was ok that bivvy, a bit of condensation but to be expected on a damp beach. Cheers for watching mate. Lee

Hi Mark, yeah Hanuman has mentioned it could be because it wasn't that cold outside so the vapour doesn't escape from the inside so easy!! Or something like that, I was warm though and it was very damp out so it could have been worse... I love that beach and hate it, just featureless now they keep filling it in, it felt comfy with a groyne to the right, also could attach a tarp to it and weigh down the other side with stones... I will miss it a bit... so easy to park, and get to though. 40 mins and I'm on the beach
