I travel to the Wildlands non-operating Park to do a bushcraft backpacking solo overnight with my new bushcraft backpack. Designed for me by the Canadian company YNOT.
I hike in for about 5 hours, while testing the new pack, I find a secluded lake, set up camp, cut firewood, explore, cook supper, and spend a very enjoyable night alone in the woods.

The german sentence you read was a defaced proverb, like one you would find on a public toilet: "Hast Sonne im Herzen und Zwiebeln im Bauch, dann kannst du gut furzen und Luft hast du auch." Rough(!) translation: "Have sunshine in your heart and onions in the belly, then you can fart well and you also have air." A nicer version I found: "Hab Sonne im Herzen und Zwiebeln im Bauch, dann hast du Freude am Leben und Luft hast du auch." Again, a rough(!) translation: "Have sunshine in your heart and onions in the belly, then you have joy in your life and you also have air."

That first night sky shot is just beautiful. The area around Minden is very pretty, and it's great that they have established this park there. For better or worse, it is very accessible to Toronto (2 hours or less, as long as the traffic on the 400 isn't too insane), so hopefully many will get to enjoy this lovely place.

I have the Snow Peak 900 as well and it cooks "biscuits " very well. You might try it over coals so the heat is dispersed evenly across the bottom of the pan. Low and slow is best for what you are cooking in a Ti pan.The evening sunset and fire video was outstanding in my opinion. I appreciate all the hard work you put in. I had to laugh when you said listen, what do hear, nothing. For me that's the best part of traveling to an out of the way camp site, no human sound. Thanks my friend. Enjoyed it!
