I was honestly shocked to tears when I saw you using a car in the intro. I was subconsciously pretty sure you were either using a carriage, with stone wheels, pulled by 2 cows or at least a unicorn. Approaching on a fire-breathing dragon would have been ok, too. Or the ride on a self-made broom. But a car? A car????? The desillusion pain hurts SO bad!

It is useful to remember that an AX is also a sharp blade: you show exactly why! In my Gymnasium (Highschool) years, I went camping in deep snow high on a glacial hill remains. We knew so little!🙄🙄 Had we known about a stove like this or like many other similar commercial stoves, we could have had comfortable nights! (We did not have such nights.) We could not start a fire without resorting to 'scoutmaster fluid' (the comic name for kerosene used in Scout camping.) TODAY, I understand that light poles, cut with a folding saw and jointed with such a fine ax can be everything that is needed for a winter camp.

Handy axe work brother Swed, well done. I just got one of those vintage carbon steel cold handle pans, a 7" which cost me a fortune but happy to have it. Almost time for the other half of the lavvu to show up permanent. Great camp set up, fire reflector and good food. The miniature wood stove works like a champ, thanks for the tutorial on the build. Inspired by your videos I was walking through the Swedish woods and cooking fresh meals over the open fire a few days ago and being back it's a joy to view your content again. The opening in this vid, driving with a car into the woods, really makes fun! 😅 I've choosen the Bergslandsleden to walk, but must cancel it because there was soooo much Elk Flies in the woods I can't enjoy the nature.
