You mentioned your bushcraft shelter not being that perfect. That is because it’s real, made from materials found on site. You don’t have a crew harvesting perfectly straight live trees, all the same diameter and transporting them to a set for you. You are an authentic bushcrafter and that is why I watch you and not the production company stuff. And you actually spend the night in your shelters. You are doing a great job Sam. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for picking up the garbage I hope it changes the minds of those who leave it one at a time You remind me of Steve Wallace who is incredible You're in good company
Awesome video Mr. bananas that’s what I love to watch you do what you do best camping Bush crafting thank you my friend. We love you here in northern California.🙏💙💯🇺🇸⛺️
Nice camp. It's nice to see how simple it is to make a comfortable camp almost anywhere. Love your leave no trace breaking camp. Looking forward to your new adventures.
Always fun to camp vicariously with you in one of your camping videos. I appreciate that you show some of the hike in and the effort you put into that part too. Nice pretty camp site and area.
Enjoyed this. Wish the patreon limit was higher. It's worth it. You're looking very much in shape. Doing this full time is agreeing with you. Hi to Mrs Bananas
heck yeah, I love the canoe trips, do a rainy one, lol. I don't know if you got my msg on the banana flask, but I do want at least two personalized ones. thank you for the cool videos.
Thank you for a nice video and for being so natural. It’s nice to see someone that’s not afraid to have a couple beers and just be like I said natural. Your videos are not like the other videos but I did subscribe because I like your style. Thanks again. Take care
Anyone else notice the cell phone shot ? Somebodies watching videos in the woods! lol!!! Too funny. (Love the channel! Look forward to all your adventures)
I keep tellin ya Sam...Make a standard check list for your self for each type of camping adventure and you won't leave things behind. But you are always resourceful no matter what gets thrown your way. Gonna give the Montreal steak spice a try on baked potato. I saw Luke's review too. The net is super cool. And just like that, another one for the books. Great share as usual Sam. Best wishes to you and Ms. Bananas
We look forward to your adventure each week, we're rooting for your success. When the fish are feeding on the surface try switching to a top water lure. And have you considered employing a check list to ensure you have everything you will need, salt should be an essential. Keep at it, it's the journey we are sharing with you.
Hi Richard! I'm taking so many things and switching stuff out constantly so lists are kind of tough for me but maybe! As for the top water life I'll check it out! I'm super green at fishing so I'm trying to learn. I appreciate the encouragement my friend. Thank you! I need all the support I can get 🤣
Sure enjoy the new video adventures every week brother! A suggestion for the fishing... Live Worms. If you get a cup of live earth worms, you may have more luck in some of the little streams and small lakes you camp around. An earthworm on the bottom will entice catfish pretty easily. Might make for a nice catch and cook segment. I look forward to the next one, especially the canoe trip. BK
After all you are Sam Bananas and thanks for taking us camping with you. Do you think you will ever camp in the UP of Michigan? Be kind to each other Brian
I enjoyed the video, needs rain , 👍⚡️🌧️ , I seen it in your comments, I’ve told you many times before , make a check list ! , list everything you need for a trip , then inspect each item for serviceability, your not the only one who forgets stuff but at least you admit it, some of these other so-called experts refuse to admit they goofed , you keep it honest 👍 Let’s see you go “tactical “ in the future, plus waiting for the Dakota fire pit 👍🍖, teach us some stuff , 🖖🥓⛺️🌧️
Trust me I've been caught in South Mountains State Park after dark with no light and it was pretty bad. Took a wrong trail and dark caught me. I'll never be without a light again. EVER ANYWHERE!! 😂 A little OCD now when it comes to having light. 😂👍🏾🤦🏾♂️🫣🙄🤣
I always enjoy ' Camping with SB. More realistic and you show your failures. Well done. you are the only camping vlog I put on Cinematic Screen. When do you think your dog will be back?
Idk if where you live they carry kinders buttery garlic and herb seasoning but if you like that type of flavoring omg it’s great!!! On salmon!!!❤️if they don’t it there I’ll totally send you some if you would like lol.
Probably carp in the river breaking the surface ...if legal in that state get a can of corn or two throw some out about half a can bait yr hook up and catch some they give a good fight but not good to eat I'mo... .good luck
Just curious as to why you would take the beer can down from the tree but leave the bright red shotgun shell right next to it?... I dig your videos and watch them all.
Tell you what I figure before with getting the Y branch in the ground... Get another stick that's not "Y" to make the hole, then remove it and push the Y branch in that hole. That way I wouldn't break the V on top of the Y branch hammering it down.
It's probably a Muskrat in the water. Looks like a good area for them. They are very notorious for eating peoples faces when they are sleeping. They go for the ears first.
Wait... The "Ole banana flask" did NOT have the "Old banana" ware that it used to have. I'm guess it's had a good "ole" refresh or it's had a replacement. CONFESS!
