Hiking the Wainwrights - S4-Ep10: Hardknott wild camp
Sometimes, for whatever reason, we need to hit the reset button and for many of us that button is a big green one with the letters N-A-T-U-R-E written in capital letters. Pressing it puts everything back where it belongs: in perspective. God I love nature, camping and most of all the Lake District!
And Hardknott was the perfect place for the reset, despite it being my back-up option from the week before 😂

Sorry for your loss. My mom was English (North Sea coast) and she passed away a few years ago after a long battle with Alzheimer's. It was shortly after her death during the pandemic that my daughter introduced me to your videos (particular when you were on the beach) and there's a comfort to seeing her home country that helped me through it.

Outstanding Glenn. The time-lapse was spectacular and very special indeed. The sunrise light was absolutely beautiful. The landscape was very interesting and needs to be visited. The dehydrated korma looked like Sick with stomach lining. Im so pleased you enjoyed it.. The video was yet again a Masterpiece of lakeland beauty ... kindest regards.... 👍👍👍

My sincere condolences on the sad loss of your Mum. I lost mine exactly 2 years ago and on a day when grief hits me I try to remember a time when Mum and I were in fits of laughter or were walking on the Lakeland fells, always helps. I went to Madeira many times over 20 years and I know what you mean. It has become very commercialised and very busy (hypocrite that I am). Thank you for this video I loved it, what stunning scenery. Thanks Glenn.

There is beauty all around us, if we just have the heart to appreciate the uniqueness of each landscape. I’m a mountain forest gal, but I enjoy the prairies, beaches and even the desert (at least in late fall or early spring). As always, thank you for being our tour guide. Your joy in your home is contagious and it makes your videos very enjoyable.

Great video as always. I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother , I lost my dad 3 years ago , I knew he wouldn't want me moping all the time so I decided to do what we both liked to help me and that is getting into the wilds of the lake district, it really distracts you from things dosent it? I wanted to go up at least 20 wainwright's that year(21) I managed to do 26 and I'm not exactly the fittest of all people , I know he would've been proud , what you are doing with your channel and your photography and everything else you do I know she would be so proud , you're a credit to her, stay strong mate and keep these wild camping videos coming , things in life like a health issue I have is stopping me going camping , any fall or bang could be life threatening, hopefully can soon
