I know it took some time but i finally made it out again with my camera. Hiking this time to the top of Piz Fess, also called the evil Fess (don't know why tho) to spend the night on the mountain.
I decided to film this time without disruptions of me talking to the camera during the hike itself. Got inspired by Kraig Adams hiking films. I love all of his hike videos and his filming style is so refreshing and calming you should definitely check him out here on RU-vid if you don't know him already.

As far as I know, the prefix "Bös" ("evil") is given to peaks that are somewhat brittle and dangerous. For example, Bös Fulen, Bösbächistock, or - deservedly - Bös Fess.

Breathtaking! I would love to try Solo camping too yet I have to gather more courage to do it ! I love to experience Sun sets and Sun rises in the Alps! Does hiking solo give you a spiritual feeling? I just watched the Alpinist (RIP Marc-Andre) and he seemed to have a spiritual bond with the mountains or even something higher. Just wondering on your take. Thank you and peace ✌️

it gives me definitely a strong connection to myself and to nature. Reducing everything that you need to an absolut minimum. It's like becoming one with your environment. You can call it a spiritual bond, i just call it the primal drive that's in us.

Hey Nico, amazing video, I really liked it. The quality is excellent. I like Kraig Adams as well. What camera and drone do you use? I used GoPros and the Mavic Air2 but I have new the Sony A7S3 now, can't wait to test it. By the way, I'm from Chur 🤠. The thumbs up stone structure is really funny! Hope to stay in contact with you. Hoi Schwendi! Thanks for your comment! Always nice to know there are likeminded peoples just nearby 😊 I am using a Lumix S5 for filming and a Mavic Air 2 for droneshots. Just had a look at your channel, keep exploring and stay safe 🤙

@@rovethewild Hey Nico, thanks for the answer and your visit 😀. I have the Mavic Air 2 as well, I really love it. It's also very robust, I had several crashes in the wilderness, haha. But it survived every time. One time, I had to recalibrate the obstacle sensors, DJI supported me very well by doing this, I'm very happy with it. Don't know the Lumix S5, I will check it out. I'm optical engineer, so I'm very interested in all that stuff. You too stay safe, see you later 👍

there r no mountain lions in Switzerland... and bears r VERY rare.. once in a while one is coming over from Italy .. but doesn t really happen that much... we got some wolves... but u have to be very lucky to even see one.. they r not really threat... at all...
