Just came across your video about Killarney and subscribed . Canoe caught my interest as i have a nova craft UL bob special trimmed in ash as well . Looking forward to more trips. PS do you fish as well?

Hi Andrea. I forgot to ask... - Which Nova Craft do you have? Is it the Prospector 15/16? - Which material did you get, fiberglass or TuffStuff? - Is it just the standard yoke or the deep dish for portaging? - What is the longest trip you ever done by canoe? - Have you ever done fast moving water/rapids? While Nova is less expensive than a Clipper canoe made in BC here, Nova Craft can certainty climb in price pretty fast with accessories and materials.

Nice video and cute pup! Very close to the same name as my pup lol. I’m pretty jealous, I still haven’t managed to explore Killarney yet but it’s on the bucket list for sure! Hope to see more videos from you in the future!

Oh goodness I miss thunder and lightening. I would canoe in most weather except when high winds. I always brought breathable rain gear. This is the weather you don't want to paddle in. Thunder and rain in itself is nothing to worry about. However, lightening strikes are as lightening is unpredictable and can strike with no thunder or clouds in the sky. Apparently, 20/30 feet is the average range one should not be caught in. The sound of the thunder within that range of contact would be a danger as it could do damage to your hearing. Nevertheless, a typical lightning bolt has tremendous energy and is why it can break bones and melt sand into glass. When it hits a tree, it radiates out in and along the ground surface and can injure or kill you up to 30 feet away. And even further if the ground is wet. You inside the tent was more of a threat as a tent offers no protection from lighting. In a forest situation, one should seek shelter in a low-lying area under a thick growth of small trees or bushes. You are a beautiful looking lady and I sure wouldn't want any harm to come to you. But true enough as you decided, being on the water would not have been a great idea during a storm. I relied on extended forecast weather conditions to anticipate any early changes, topographic maps and waterway alerts/markings such as rapids, what class, or if dams, and water falls. 🤗+♥️-🇨🇦. Can't wait for part 3 sweety. I so miss canoeing.
