Ever since my mother read me the Odyssey as a small boy I have dreamt of fighting everyone, all at once. Obviously it's hard to create a situation in which this is possible, but when it works it feels like flying on wings made of joy. This one is lovey, good fight.

@@grondhero Up and down, but the trend line is up over time. I had not played in a while, but my sensory sensitivity got a lot better and I logged in, flew around a bit, want to do more so. Laskerson is doing well, and I hope for us to make more videos soon, I have some of the footage of my roams from when I logged in.

that fight was awesome, btw a quick tip: you can target wathever ship is "electronic warfare / neut / nosferatu" ing you by ctrl+click on the icon of the debuff above the health bar, its good when you have to preserve cap. but i would never in my eve career could fly such ship that fight was really awesome thanks for sharing it
I was there 😁😁, Got literally 3 shotted being in a hurricane 😅. I came back in a Talos afterwards and was orbiting at 100km 🤣. Was a really good fight dude, thanks for the content.
hey I was there as logy, if I recall corrently, we had a great deal of fun. and as you said, we could have just dropped a cap at an individual level an send you back, but we all understand the game to know that we rather have fun than a empty win
@@Naarii14 The attacking fleet had access to their own Capital ships (Drop a Cap). Bringing in a capital ship would have destroyed the Dreadnought instantly.
Good fight, a tip for next time, instead of a neut that you didn't seem to be using much, a smart bomb could be a lot better if you can fit it, as the amount of drones there def added some good dps, being able to blast them or atleast force them off the field could be quite valuable
its capable of much more his fit is total shit..... his controll is even worse.... WRONG MUNITION TYPE most of the time..... im cant even begin to explain how bad this video is.... If you look closely you can see that nobody using stuff that can actuali kill him..... the almounts of bombers not using void bombs is ridiculous. This is perfect example of FIXED fight..... Streemers basicli tell enemy that hey im want to fight where im kill lot of small shit and make cool video. And FC mostly friend of the streemer say hey why not sacrifice hundreds of our members for you ...... its discusting when ever this happen in our space we imidietly hard counter the dread and kill him because im dont see a reason in sacrificing people ships for somebody youtube. Again this is FIXED FIGHT nobody using actual hard logi nobody void bombs there are no bhalgorns on him..... Thats why it work so good ...... there is no diference between scripted FAKE FIGHT and this......
Great fight, maybe one day you should try the "skate" method (Pretty much the only way to do this in a non-pheonix), where you warp into an object to get booped at 800-1000m/s then pop into siege to preserve the momentum for the whole fight. Orbits become more ovoid and when you scram off their prop they lag behing in a straight line giving you better application on those pesky tackle and you don't get permastuck in the same bubble.
Not an expert here, but you didn't get a reply, so I'll guess. Probably either warp to a pre-set bookmark that overlaps a collidable structure, or click a collidable structure and save location, then warp to it. I've never done big PVP like this, but I've had an Orca warp to zero on an asteroid once, and this happened. I turned on the industrial core without checking my velocity first, which was like 1000m/s like Cuddly said.
This is correct, it can be done by making bookmarks on existing structures as long as they have a hitbox. Asteroids work as above and are the most common targets because the bump boost you get is faster the longer your ship overlaps the object and some asteroids are HUGE. Because siege mode prevents changes to velocity it can also be used to "lock" an existing velocity while you are travelling at the speed of an after-burning cruiser.
I aspire to this. One day I would love to force multiply structures that are getting bullied in LS with my solo dread abilities... IF I HAD THEM T_T o7 this was enjoyable and insightful to watch!
I dont know how this guy got a fight like this. But this isnt exactly something that works. At the very least, blobs will come with anti cap cynos and murauder gangs. These big blobs are usually anti fun.

That was a great fight. Thanks for goons not ruining it by doing caps. Makes me consider doing the same with my phoenix stuck in low sec after asset safety from when i won. No way i wouldn't get caps dropped on tho

Content, these guys wanted a fight so they took a fleet out. Losing 8 bil is pretty easy for us to SRP and worth it for people to get on a dread killmail.
That was pretty clear right from the start, what would happen, when I saw the small pile of cap boosters in your hangar. Nevertheless you gave them a good fight 👍
I was just wondering how much damage did the passive shield regen held during this fight, and can it be optimised to consume less cap boosters by maintaining the shield close to 33% hp similarity, how much more cap could you have gotten if you were a management god and kept your cap at 33% for the whole fight. I wonder how much more ships you could have killed and how much more time you could have held. I wonder if co-piloting is a thing people do in this game.
So much respect for taking that dread out solo and being able to get such a great fight. A little bit of heat could go a long way for next time :) can't wait to see more vids from u.
Awesome fight! Quick question, although i know you go into these fighta assuming you lose your ship, but isnt it possible to kill all the pointers and still get out? Or is that unrealistic?
@@Razze18 Gotcha yeah. I'm not too familiar with how cynos work. Would you be able to cyno your way out of the fight? Or is there an aggression timer that prevents you from doing it?
I was there in a purifier lol, despite what fleet members have told me I didn’t believe that you could apply to me with props off, then you proved me wrong after I started close orbiting you for 1 minute lol. Props for bringing a big toy, hope to see you again in our space another day :D
I died in the end because I ran out of cap, not because they where out-dps'ing my rep amount. The shield boost amplifier also gives a massive penalty to heat damage. But to your point, I could have probably overheated towards to end to squeeze out a few more seconds.
keep in mind heating your hardeners as much as you can safetly saves you having to rep a lot and probably would buy you a fair bit of extra time.@@LevonBedros
The CA 1 - CA 4, usually allow me to fit a dual tech II cap booster and leave some wiggle room for bad shield PG Abyssal stats. The hydra pod would help, but I feel getting more cap boost potential in these fights is probably the way to go. Also much cheaper :P
hello, I'm eve player and data scientist. If you could send me over that combat log (located in eve folder) i could mine data to get inflicted damage by ship type, pilots etc. That information could potentially give you insights about priority targets next time. p.s. also smartbomb instead of neutralizer could dramatically increase your capsule kill rate and save many launcher cycles (time) for threat targets.
