I believe that when Blizz adds in more paragon levels and trees we will see more difficulties that will probably be called the new Inferno difficulties. Because dungeons still have the hard difficulty for Inferno 1 and beyond. Unless Blizz wants us to be able to do all dungeons solo. Also you will no doubt see a combat rating jump with the new difficulty levels. The reason why I say that is because of the boss raids. The last boss IIRC is around your current combat rating.

Slywarrior here, I like the way you can do dungeons solo because the time I play(12am to 4am) I have a hard time getting party’s.

I work 3rd shift, so Im getting off work around 6 am server time, and yeah, I like it for that, but, Im also in a very active clan of immortals, so its not too hard to party up most of the time. What a run on sentence that was. 😂 Im cypherchaos on RatKing server…

I'm just getting into it on mobile, former Path of Exile player. Being able to solo dungeons with proper builds has a PoE feel to it, and it's helping me a lot as a new player.

I didn't mind it being a challenge. Solo dungeon was fun because it was a challenge. Making the game easier is not going to make it more fun.

DI needs a challenge update. Adding something like WOW mythic plus dungeon affixes for more rewards or anything that gives us a challenge.

Dungeons made easy. Was not for the veteran players. It's to draw in new players. If I were starting out I would say that this game is overly complicated. And if I knew then, what I knew now, I wouldn't have invested so much time into it. It's the love for Diablo that kept me going. But seeing all my hard work and money pay off feels so good

The lowest requirement for heliquary 3 is like 22,000 and something cr so if people have really high cr like 37,000 35,000 or 36,000 it would make sense for it to be easy to do dungeons and I know a lot of seasoned players with super high cr mainly because they have their equipment upgraded for me I'm planning on advantage of this and trying to finish my and boost my character

Looking at hell1-3, each difficulty adds 100 paragon levels. Hell 1 000-133 Hell 2 100-233 Hell 3 200-333 (399) Hell 4-6 will probably simply continue adding 100 paragon levels. Hell 4 300-433 Hell 5 400-533 Hell 6 500-699 (666) I think we might get the hell 4-6 already with the anniversary update mid June.

I am surprised almost no one in the comment havent figure out, or even expect this will happen. In other long running MMO games, stats squish is normal. But the problem here is DI only squished its level, but not the stats. Other games would actually close the power gaps between newer and older players, while reserving larger gap for new expansions. But DI went for meaningless paragon cut, and somehow still wanted to maintain that power gap. Think about it, Hell 3 is for Inf4 - Inf6, so we also need to cater for inf4 gears also. If we maintained inf6 requirements, people who was inf4 or currently just entered Hell3 would have no chance to do anything in overworld or dungeons in new Hell3. And if youre in Hell1 bracket the power gap is much much worse. They could only do correct scaling in Helliquary since we have 5 tiers, and you would notice the CR gaps between bosses are very huge. Not sure if is an oversight or intentional. But moving forward, for new players Normal - Hell 3 will be ridiculous progression, and the new Inferno 1 would give back our old progression feel. They already show the name would be Inferno 1 at the tooltip of dungeon entrance.

It is good now because for bonus dungeon, sometimes it is very difficult to find party. Waited so long but nobody is joining. For now, I go solo for bonus dungeon but will ALWAYS go for random dungeon with parties.

Ive noticed when they recycled the difficulties, they forgot to up the mobs health in dungeons and im sure they are using the old system of the mobs scaling health every time u go up a hell lvl which is why im sure they have almost half of the health now. Overall, yes quicker but also theres zero challenge. Im not even 3k res n i just sneeze on them n they die now which isnt that fun but it does help out the newer players

I did notice when I did a solo FT yesterday for contract that the countess went down super easy. However, combat rating is not the reason the dungeons are easier. I have over 36k CR, so even Before the update I was hitting the maximum CR bonus for basically any content in game besides high level challenge rifts (last 10 levels or so). Once you are about 1k CR over the required amt for the activity you are doing, you reach a cap of 11% additional dmg, and 10% dmg reduction. Any surplus beyond that does nothing which is the reason once you hit that cap you shoukd be equipping str/int with fort gear for higher dmg outout rather thsn continuing to mindlessly equip highest cr pieces. So for me, whether I'm in the lowest or highest difficulty, my CR bonus is exactly the same. I don't think they changed the thresholds for secondaries, maybe everything just has less health now. That first yeti on the ice that breaks in your video only had about 2mil health. That seems low to me. I've crit for a mil on a single shot before and every class has a build that can reach 1mil dps or higher with reasonable gear, so it's not surprising it went down in 2 seconds. I guess it's also possible that they scaled dungeons to correlate with how many players are running it, but I think with 4 it has been the same. I agree it's strange the CR req is THAT low tho.

Since i've not yet completed the campaign with Tempest, i didn't get to hell 1. I'll see how it'll turn out then.

They should keep the dungeons this way but also add hardmode dungeons. Bosses there should kill you in 1 to 3 hits depending on resonance and bulds if you mess up but habe increases rewards such as a guaranteed set item drop or a much higher chance for high quality set items such as tripple stats.

I started this game a week ago .now I'm on 230 level with combat rating of 23500 ..is it good or bad for a week ?? I didn't even finish the story yet

Well I like the new update most of the time I play solo and have to wait for ppl to join the dungeons I was having a hard time not being able to get reward

I think new difficulty level will come at Paragon level 333, same as Hell 1, 2 and 3, they start at *33.

I said it First!!! I said, "As long as Blizzard doesn't take my time and money I've spent on my Account and make it Null and Void, I won't mind the new update." Welp, Guess What?! Blizzard has turned into Bungie. Now, I feel like I've just burned my time and money on this game for nothing as well. It's like, those of us who are Dedicated to The Grind, are being punished for Investing in the Belief that we're accomplishing something. Now, Blizzard has made it clear that we don't matter. I played the game for the Grind, not to be handed a freebie. If this was the Case, I could've not wasted the last year of my Life believing that Diablo Immortal was going to be different. It's really Sad, is what it is. 🙄 smh

Data miner from Japan has confirmed today that the servers were seriously underwhelmed as Blizzard had expected a huge uptake of new and returning people and was at only 59% capacity at any time. The chose the wrong point in the battle pass hoping that so many people would love the new class that they would buy the $14.99 battle pass for the cool skin and battle pass upgrades. It was a disaster and now the game is looking at having to eventually go back to strict Combat Rating or loose even more people. I'm taking a month of to play something else till it is finally sorted......JM

There's no better time than now to do Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars and Hellslayer Bounties. So easy. (I'm still not gonna bother, lol)

I honestly can't remember the last time I killed my character playing "normally", I really have to do something dumb on purpose to corpserun anymore.... Not that I'm mad, but I'd rather they spent just a *bit* or resources killing goldspam - worst part of the game honestly.

Here are some possible reasonings to Dungeons, owf, Rifts, Raids (minus Hell 3 Advanced Gauntlet), etc. being uber easy now for those of us that's been playing for a while now... 1... Kinda like a cooldown respite for the release of Tempest so those who are trying to learn it, aren't having to do so with a "tougher time", that just happens to be a shared experience for all classes for the moment. 2... A tide over lull till Hell 4 (or whatever name it may have... remember Abyss was suppose to be a new gameplay difficult coming "soon") that's most likely dropping in just a couple of weeks on June 13th that will have raised CR requirements more in tune to what we normally would expect. I think it'll be the June update going by the roadmap of new difficulty level & Helliquary bosses supposedly dropping by the end of June. I know... we're not even at 300 yet and Hell III is currently saying 200-399, but also nothing is saying Blizz doesn't have something in mind in "secret" regarding the extra 100 levels to go to 400 for the new difficulty dropping. I could very well be wrong in my assumption of Hell IV coming in June, but again... roadmap. Also note that, with the new paragon leveling scheme, Normal = 0-60 (no paragon), Hell I = Paragon 0 - 133, Hell II = 100 - 233, and Hell III 200 - 399. Hell levels I and II do overlap with 133 levels being the total from start to finish of each difficulty, but Hell III (although does share the 33 overlap with Hell II) goes on well past 333. Could be that 399 is just an arbitrary holdover number until Hell IV drops, which if staying with the pattern, ought to be 300 - 433 and Hell III 200-333. And then come June 13th update, server paragon ought to be 300... on par with what I just said. 3... Could be the tradeoff of a sorts to taking away our ability to individually choose & tweak our secondary stats in the new Paragon tree. 4... I still recall the devs saying in the 1st quarter update video where they are going to be lowering the dependencies of CR so much (or something to that effect), which was while also talking about the new Eternal Legendry gear that was about to drop (again... 1st quarter update video). 4... A mix n match of 1-4 above to some varying degrees. 5... As you said... possibly just an oversight by the devs. Me personally, I actually don't mind the break from the actual "grind" by everything being a bit more cakewalk to run through, and not needing to rely on a party for so much. I think I am beginning the feel of game burn-out with so much to do and requirements and so on n so forth ( I love new in-game content... but it is beginning to get a lil over saturated with little-to-no focus on gameplay bugs & glitches getting fixed that keeps on mounting up) that I have been having passing thoughts of walking away from the game for a spell, so a lil easy going does seem to help accomplish everything faster which does help... in my case at least.

I'm feeling the ease of things, I don't really like it, I'd rather there be SOME difficulty, it doesn't need to be crazy hard. I do think H4 will raise the bar to what we've been used to.

Well it does make the daily grind faster. But kinda feel like the skill based content is getting dull. it gets boring really fast. Hopefully they add new stuff, they did lower the difficulty possibly to open up more interesting content in the future so something to look forward to? Hmmm let's see how this goes, too early to say.

Everything is too easy now other than Challenge Rifts and Gauntlet. Also shows how OP Tempest is . 3k CR Tempest doing over 200 million Damamagecat Test Dummy in a minute really way OP .

I think this is temporary. I think we should use this to farm fast as possible to max gear. I love the way to farm with my Barb spinning threw the game and crushing everything. I like this 😂

My question to you Echo, is Blizzard giving up on Diablo Immortal? This update just made the game into a one size fit all, catering towards the new players. It is no longer challenging and there’s no incentive to bring up or CR points. Talking to my clan mates, the game is kind of boring now.

Tbh game has got boring AF Over 95% of players I have played with for past 2 years have quit & friend list gone from 84 active to 3 Server is quite dead too :/

do dailies (300 plats a day), lair hunts (there's a weekly cap), buy contracts for familiars to sell, sell skill stones, maybe snipe an underpriced legendary gem and sell for more. as an f2p my main source of plats is selling gems from open world farming or lair hunts.

everything exept cl rifts or gauntlet 3 is a joke and will be for awhile alot of us players from start are allready bored as heck 7 min and you are done with everything daily another issue is the game has been clunky as hell since 3 days prior to patch

I think the sollution for those, never satisfied with the difficulty level of a dungeon, would be for devs to add the option at the dungeon start screen to select difficulty for those with higher than reccomended combat ratings. As it stands, i'm perfectly happy with how things are right now.

Yeeh its easy but then again it allows more botting and not only that but it gets booring sadly.. with this kinda cr 4k+ over were already prepared for new difficulty... But take in mind this update was done for new player base on China version

This has to be on pc because the mobile version sucks💯 it’s really generic it’s a copy of BD (Black Desert)… I’ve only played the First Diablo and immediately uninstalled it and I tried Diablo Immortal and it still sucks nothing really changed. Honestly BD (Black Desert) will always be better

In my Opinion, I have no problem with things being "Easy" but I want it to be because I EARNED IT!!! Rather because I Grinded/Spent/or Both. I'm OK with somehow making myself OP for Current Content... I AM NOT OK with them Nerfing "End Game" to Cater to New Players...Not without them making some other Mode for Day 1 Players. Remember when I3 Gauntlet was IMPOSSIBLE? Now I can Solo the next to last Boss in H3...

I think it's intentional, and that at Paragon 300 which is just a few weeks away they'll implement Hell 4 - which will take us right back to that standard difficulty feel that we were in at Inferno 6.

@@Cykyn I didn't say it was difficult, i said standard difficulty. There is nothing difficult about the game whatsoever, but go attempt a Level 200 challenge rift and tell me how it goes. You are hard-locked out of certain difficulty/tier levels, which was disrupted after this level crunch. It'll go back to the standard operating procedure once H4 drops in mid-June.

Hi Echo. Yep it's really dull at the moment. To do dungeons in a party is just crazy. All about who gets to the monsters first. They just kill all. The 3 in the party are just there to make up the numbers. I play dungeons solo now. My main in temple 2 hits max on a boss. There's no challenge, skill or even interest. God I'm bored with immortal. Blizzard only seems to care about new players at the moment. I've played pretty much since day 1. I was getting bored on inferno 6. This is just awful. Big thumbs down from me.

It was a needed thing to get some new/returning players because the player base was quickly declining. Anyone new or returning had no one to play with as everyone was split across the many difficulties (mostly max). It will even out over the next couple months.

If blizzard keeps going like this. Alot of the old players. You know the ones who have supported the game from day 1. Will just find other games to play. Then new players will be the only ones playing. It would not of been difficult to give a harder level for stronger players. Its funny just today 3 players from the clan have decided to take a break at the mo.

Question is, do we want the difficulty to go up for the stuff we have in game now? I would rather be able to run dungeons faster. Make the stuff that's supposed to be difficult, more difficult like terror rifts and oblivion pillars, but boost the rewards. More difficult content should yield better rewards.

Seems like blizzard missed that they needed to buff the amount of mats that drop so a player can max gear faster instead of lower the difficulty. Been playing a while but as f2p and am only at lvl 17 on gear and it is very slow unless I no life and owf the entire 2-3 hours a day I can play.

When you damage the dummy in West March; no matter how much damage you do your damage stays the same. I don't know if the buffs are bugged (not being removed) or the damage output I am seeing is bugged. Can you tell Blizzard, please. This is with Tempest.

4 person dungeons still give the extra chest. Solo is great if you need specific dungeons, but find party is still great if you don't care.

Cause if you think about it look at your armor, armor penetration number screen and mouse over them and you will see that your over vs being under

Really stupid question: I started about a week ago and I noticed in your necro guide you had two sets of weapons and shields. I think you referred to them as 'stance' gear? Are both sets actively giving you stats at all times?

Yes. But having 2 main-hand and/or off-hand gear of the same essence... they will not stack. Be sure to use different essences per main-hand and per off-hand gear piece. The stance aspect is so you can toggle between aggressive & passive play during a fight (with a cool down of 30 seconds before you can change stance again). It'll be either Hell II or Hell III where those 2 extra main gear slots will open up, but once it does, Stances feature will be open as well.

Yes but only the top set gives you the full amount of attack power stats, put your non attack power stats in the bottom ones. You'll be better served.
