Awesome! Lashings are also great to learn for making things like that even more solid. Start with a clove hitch, do some lashing and then end with a clove hitch knot.
I'm about to hook up my dog's trailer to my build E-bike and take him out for a week end. My doggo is 14 and may not have that many more week-ends. I thank you for your videos with your dog.
You're Stellar 🌟 ⭐️ 🌠 💫 🌃 Tough, adventurous, smart, dog-loving.. Why no one mentions gorgeous is beyond me 🤷👍🤷 Those eyes are worth the trip here 🫡🤩🫣.. Keep up the brilliant work please 🙏 🙏🙏 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐶🐶👏👏👏👏
I love that you're honest that you're learning and show your mistakes. It's encouraging for newbies like me. So many camping youtubers act like experts about everything they're doing in a way that makes it feel unachievable.
Well I guess that's one way of doing it. I was just made a tripod. I put one piece of wood acrost two of the legs in front. And then the two longer ones making the seat set on top of that and tied to the back leg. And then you put the wood for the seat and you can even put wood on the back. And you can make the chair as high or as low as you want. Without doing a lot of chopping, or extensive work
I’m going to go broke watching your videos. Every time you have a new project and pull a tool out of your backpack, I say, oh I definitely need one of those and head to, you know, that big online shopping monster 😂
Hi 👋, Madison , I am new to your, work , Camping 🏕️, Bushcraft , great looking 👀 chair 🪑, I would like to see you build a log cabin, or a shelter, please, I have some RU-vid friends who live in the same area as you’re, she rides a Harley, her a her farther do repairs on motorcycles, another couple own a lot of land overlooking a large lake and she and her husband are building a lodge on the side of the Mountain, I presume like other people, have been passing comments, been very very bad fires in your region, I love the bike hopefully one day I might be able to afford one , I believe Indian motorcycles have just bought one out, Way out of my price range, but looks a great bike, stay safe, Phil from the moulin France,

You should practice “leave no trace” . Leave the bushes alone. Cool that you’re out and communing with nature so you should leave it looking natural. Kick cairns and bad habits.😂❤
I finally figured out after weeks of who you remind me of. Well look like and sound like. Anyway you remind me of Roxanne from 7th heaven. Oh that was bugging me so bad. It’s your eyes and voice that are similar. Anyway keep having great adventures and be safe out there.
From an outsider looking in - it seems solo hikes demand to the highest degree, being totally present in the moment to the immediate topographical landscape to avoid that inadvertent misstep (ie that can occur in the blink of an eye due to only a transient carelessness) that leads to a sprained ankle or other worse injury/ situation. And it seems to also demand fluid critical thinking skills to think outside the box, if needed, to respond quickly to any imminent dangers not covered in the textbooks (so to speak) or to those totally unanticipated. Mad props to creating content that appears to goal for being authentic, over let’s say, sensationalism (ie to blow up your social media).
like a queen on a throne she made herself. Great to see a young woman feeling the power of solitude and simplicity. To me, there is nothing more joyful than a relationship with nature. Kyro looks like a hero dog all the way. Furthur, Beyond !
Good on you for getting out there and trying new things. It's refreshing to watch someone learning and experiencing things new to them. I feel like more people who go camping should spend less time on their phones and more time enjoying the outdoors and what it has to offer. Looking forward to more bushcraft and can't wait for the snow adventures. Chair looks great too!
Looking foarwrd to your winter adventures ! Amazing job! ( caution on your saw placement and knife placement close/facing your body parts - you are alone outthere ) Keep these amazing videao comming. You are inspriing.
I think you are adorable, beautiful, talented and amazing. You remind me of me when I was your age. I hope you NEVER loose your innocence. You seem like such a sweet unspoiled girl. I guess Im jaded about life and people. I love how you are so good to your pup. You remind me of Alexandra Daddario. Keep up the great work young lady!
I watch your videos for the relaxing sense of peace you bring me after a long day of work. This is probably rare, but rather than guiding you to make videos that are geared towards what I want, I prefer to be surprised at what you come with. I watch your videos because of you, not necessarily what you are doing. I knew you were going to make it when I watched your first outdoor video. Keep trying new things, and continue to show that you are growing your outdoor knowledge. Thank you for the authenticity in your videos!
Wow! From cAr camping to eBike camping: a new experience. Madison is that a Vitilan U7 eBike? I seem to recognize the 4" tires and solid spokes. You are so brave to go over such rough ground.
Hey: U Made The Very 1st Recliner Bush Craft Chair LMAO ;-0 Good Job 4 1st Try... Oh & Pls Bring Some Leather Gloves >>> 2 Save\Protect Ur Fingers, Thumb & Hand, From Being Cut { Or Worse Cut Off }
what advice would you have for someone who wants to get into the sort of camping you do? im moving to a town in the rockies soon and am so eager to get out into the forest, would appreciate any tips or advice!
One day when I was taking formal campcraft certification, we were all supposed to wrap & frap a worktable. My partner and I finished, the instructor came over, and she said what's this? It isn't supposed to last forever! Well, she didn't mention that up front. But building a lounge chair...who'd have thought. BTW, we always used jute cord. Holds knots well, entirely biodegradeable. Paracord? You have to pack out with you!
Haha you guys must have built a great table. Great call on the jute. And yes the Paracord from the chair will definitely be packed out soon. I go back often.
Mad respect to you for going solo as much as you do! It's also refreshing to see videos like yours which aren't completely dominated by gear (as cool as gear is 😏). Peace and love from Florida 🌞
Hi Madison love your E bike very Awesome love that chair you made Awesome: Madison can you do a video on tie knot just to let you know no one has done this just giving you a tip take care Madison and your dog 😊
This video is one of your best! I love learning new knots. There are a few animated knot apps that are pretty cool and you can access them while out since theyre on your phone. Looks like youre in an old wildfire scar. Ever mushroom hunt while youre out exploring? I know you were learning local flora. I feel like fungi goes hand n hand with plants....plus so many are crazy yummy! You rock! Thanks for posting this excellent video. The chair looks awesome!
Bravo! The first guy I saw make one of those was Far North Bushcraft and Survival. You are absolutely right about learning from RU-vid. You are rapidly becoming a great teacher!
Madison great adventure videos, have you visited Algonquin park in Ontario ? It’s great backcountry backpacking and fishing. Please visit so your viewers in the west can see what we have here in central ON. Here’s a video we took this summer in GreatoutDorz channel. Hope to hear from you 😊 !!!
Madison, your solo e-bike camping adventure is a perfect blend of innovation and nature appreciation! 🚴♀🌲 Building a bushcraft chair while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of British Columbia is a unique twist on outdoor living. Your willingness to try new things is truly inspiring. I'm loving every moment of your videos, and it's evident that you and Kyro make an incredible team. Your dedication shines through, and your Patreon support is well-deserved. Looking forward to more captivating adventures! 🏞📽
Beautiful trail and forest. Rad biker here. Love your natural narrative video and you just being natural you. Don't change when you are famous. Be safe out there.
Madison you are the best. Love your style and content. On the days you post a vlog, watching it is the first thing my wife and I do when we get home from work. Someday maybe you will come see our area. The White Mountains of NH. You would enjoy the Franconia ridge or a Presi traverse. 🤞🏻. Best wishes on your upcoming journey. Can’t wait to see.
First time I've seen your channel, at first I thought I was watching Alexandra Daddario (a complement to you both). I like the way you include the audience as you demonstrate your builds.
Well done on practicing and learning knots and skills. Just a tip, get yourself some #36 bankline, it's more affordable than paracord and almost as strong. It's very good for building bushcraft projects.
dude I've kinda been on the same kick too. next on my list is to go get fatwood. which seems quite easy for us in the PNW. should be a good firestarter even when wet. although you already have plenty of cardboard it sounds like lol. also if youre doing a lot of cutting I find the folding saws to be better. like the ones that are square ish or like a trapazoid. that's next on my list to add. the single fold ones seem to be a workout for sure.
