Hi Everyone I did a tour with Dorit and her old bus.

I am a 63 yr old divorcee and I just bought a bus! Scared to death! Overwhelmed by the thought of creating a space that is livable in ... Go figure... One month deadline. You are an inspiration. I don't even know where to start. I have a dual fuel gas/propane generator and tools. So I guess I am off to a good start. Oh yea! I have a 🚌! Like you, I have never driven a bus. My first drive will be 670 miles from Iowa to Tennessee ... Alone. And yes this build is being done by me and me alone. I am preparing myself for the insanity... And the thrill

Just make sure everytin else is in workin order before u invest in the buildin of it, or the adventure may b on the side of the road. I've spent the last 4 months on tinkerin wit the mechanics of the bus. I have back up hoses n belts etc. I'll sleep on the floor wit me dogs before I venture off without knowing the bus yea.

Oh, I wish you were headed this way. I’d help you. My bus is on hold because of mechanical problems and I’ve only watched about four years of Bus builds so I’ve got kind of an idea on how to do this. You’re so brave taking it on yourself. I took mine on myself and I have a honey but my honey is not interested at all in it. He has no vision. Lol

My beautiful strong wife was the manager of 30 old lazy stubborn men. Her stress relief was crying. Leave the building, cry in her car, then go back in and tell a unionized man that he was fired. I love that woman!! She is smart, funny, strong, and an emotional rock for her friends (and me the husband). You go girl and every other lady out there, a lot of men are idiots and I’ll be the first to say it.

Like, I started out watching this and was thinking she equal parts made me laugh and gave me anxiety. But then we segue into that moment of inspirational encouragement for women the world over and I was so soothed by her voice and pulled in by her calm, thoughtful demeanor...it was almost a meditative moment. Altogether, I think she's an incredible force of energy and comfort. 👍💥👍

For your table legs look at levers used for drop leaf tables, these will allow you to fold the table legs up under the table and lock in place then you can set the whole tabletop down to make another bed area or lounge area for reading. just a suggestion

If I’m ever able to do this it will be a shuttle bus and I’ll find a company who does these builds. No interest in doing any of that completely solo. I’ll be glad to pitch in as long as someone is there who knows what they’re doing! I am seriously not a DIY’er. Let’s face it, know your limitations and accept them!

Nothing wrong with your way of doing it. I'm a 74 year old man with almost NO carpentry, cabinetry, or electrical skills. The disadvantage old male farts like me have is that people EXPECT us to be good at these things or we wouldn't have a bus, so it's hard on the male ego to ask for help. The skilled guys who grew up on farms or went to trade schools look at you like you're a wimp, which I am not. That's why wife and I don't have a bus and if we ever get one, it will probably be one that's already converted and for sale by folks who either don't like the lifestyle or something unfortunate got in the way of their bus plans. I really admire "Just" for living her dream.

3:30 This is so hilarious, she manifested what she needed exactly! How? By holding a high vibration. Yep, that's been proven to be the truth especially in these energies now in 2021. Good video, also cool to see someone who enjoys living in oregon like me. Looking get a bus and convert it and utilize the wheelchair lift to put my motorcycle in the back. Safe travels!
