I literally just finished watching the video you posted earlier today about clearing all encounters UP to the final boss. And now this. Totally speechless.
He isn’t good at Destiny. He’s good at gaming. Fundamentally, Destiny isn’t a complex engine but it has multiple tweaks you need to be aware of. What he did super well is the execution based on that knowledge of the game. This is why he seems to be able to solo flawless any games he played and recorded.
If he didn't need both hands for this, I could have sworn he would be making his dinner with the other. Amazing skill. Very enjoyable to watch, too. Big thumbs up
No doubt you are the best Destiny player. And also the best content creator. You are THE GUARDIAN. I’m waiting for your Warlock solo run, but take your time, rest. Thanks!!
True at some point it stops being a challenge of skill and becomes an endurance test. Having to do so many drawn out phases is not challenging as much as it is boring. Emblem is ugly anyway compared to contest which I have 😅
The final boss health pool was great for contest as a three person fireteam, but for solo normal mode it feels like entirely too much. Not impossible technically speaking, but a bit unreasonable especially given the layout of the damage phase scenario. I do very much like the dungeon still :)
it’s odd bc i felt like warlords ruin actually had a super fair final fight doing it solo but now it feels like we’re back to ghosts of the deep final boss territory 😢😢😢
what's even more insane to me that solo flawless is even a triumph bungie bothered to put in the game in the first place for this dungeon, the amount of people that are ever going to do this is probably in the double to triple digits
@@camelat7228idk if theres a seperate triumph you’re talking about, but the triumph for the dungeon title just says complete it solo without leaving, so I think you can still die and get it done
@@camelat7228 Nah, solo flawless dungeons aren't that crazy. He has done way harder things, like solo GMs and solo Master content. I am a fairly casual player, not anywhere close to the skill level of this guy but I have solo flawlessed every dungeon up to duality. It took many tries and a lot of perfecting builds and tactics but I was able to pull it off. I don't play Destiny nearly as much as I used to and haven't done anything to challenge myself in the game in a year or two. I now just do the raid enough to learn it then do 3 boss CPs a week until the exotic drops. I will probably do the same for this dungeon then hop back off the game for a few months.
@@Clay_333there is a huge difference between solo dungeons pre-sotw and post-sotw, and vesper's is far and away the most difficult, combining gotd's complicated mechanics with wlr's tight time windows/instant kill mechanics and both dungeons' massive health pools
Just completed my solo, non flawless run after 2 days of going back and forth. The first couple of encounters are ez, its just the final boss thats a pain. Took me 2 hours alone to beat him lol. GGs
devour syntho lightning surge with parsite for first enc nova or song of flame parasite for second well and maybe whisper with sanguine alchemy? (4x solarboost) or maybe dragon’s breath and uzume/ikelos sr for consistency
The literal John wick of destiny. Babayaga. Bro has the dream just play games for a job, no talking no over edits, just shoot-go-upload- banger every time
I think you are the fastest one to finish solo-flawless. I was watching bog clearing his SF it took him 75 mins. I just want to know one thing last phase you all most died but you were getting healed on min 55. How?
Since the numbered panels count as being damaged when you shoot them you can farm stacks for a full missile salvo for Grand Overture on them instead of shooting enemies.
@yunoscubasteve it works as long as you see immune or dmg numbers i think. It was done before in atraks clone in dsc before dmg and explicator on root when hes immune in between damage plates.
In the second encounter, is it necessary to shoot the numbers in the order the servitors show? Sometimes I see Rakneie-8 with 2 purple lights and Rakneie-3 with 2 lights too.
The order doesn't matter as long as you have all four numbers to input. The way to know which servitor numbers you need is by the purple glow they show. Only 2 will be glowing different every time you get to that part.
I'm currently stuck at the first encounter wondering how Eso was gonna clear the last brig and of course he runs through the damn thing like Peak strand titan on warlords
Jesus has risen kids. I bet when we laid our heads down that night ESO was down in his bunker studying his notes and contemplating his assault with a coffee and a soft white bulb glowing in the room…
@@erickbarbosa9387You’ve always been able to duplicate items like these. You dunk it and right before the bar fills up, you switch weapons. Timing is tight on this one however. Sometimes you’ll drop it and it’ll disappear and give you one. You can do three with one nuke.
You are a god at destiny. I just cannot be fucked doing the final boss. The rest of the encounters are fine to solo but the final boss just has to much health and soloing it is not fun.
@@KayronTho Warlords have acceptable health (just barely) and is fun, Ghosts has far too much health and also isn't fun. Where as Spire is fun right up until the final boss, and then the Final Boss is only ruined by the health, EXACTLY like Vespers Host
@@aldair1216 still takes too many of those 2 minute phases to be a fun solo esp compared to the harpy boss taking 4 phases and also taking 2 mins per phase.
- Kill enemies until the large mini boss spawns. Kill it to be teleported to the top area. - Kill everything up top until a shank with the blue clone buff shows up. Kill it then pick up the buff. - Use the grenade button to spawn a clone close to the boss then destroy it. - When the boss splits memorize the names of the two servitors that are glowing blue/have red glowing eyes. The number on their name after the dash is the code you need to enter. - Head back down to the spawn room. Do this one more until you have all four numbers. - Pick up the red buff from the shank that has it then shoot the numbers you've memorized. - Kill the shank that spawns in with the boss that has the blue clone buff. Create another clone then destroy it in front of the boss. - Damage phase begins. Shoot the cluster of servitors the boss splits into until the phase ends. - Rinse, Wash, Repeat until death.
24 minutes to get to final boss. Over half an hour to complete final boss fight. Bungie has got to throw solo players a bone. Reduced boss health when loading a solo-specific version of a dungeon or something?
