First time really using Buried Bloodline but having devour on a non void subclass is so nice, plus the catalyst gives weaken which is cool. x.com/Suutekk Build GMReport: gm.report/pgcr/15238965227 DIM Link: dim.gg/kanaxhi/Equipped
while i'm happy to see more people using peregrines, i can only think its a matter of time before we see patch notes, "peregrine greaves is performing much better than intented so we're reducing the bonus melee damage by 50 percent". "to compensate for this nerf w're giving it increased airborne effectiveness".
They haven't nerfed Nighthawk, in fact they gave if the best buff ever with Still Hunt, an exotic which has been dominating this and the entire previous season, would be really stupid to nerf a niche Titan build, though bungie never likes when Titan is good.
If they did that, they'd prove to be even more out of touch than we already know they are. Peregrines requires a very aggro playstyle and can be countered by any incoming crowd control effect (of which they have plenty with the new enemy types)
Some will look at this and say "Titans have it so good what are they complaining about?" And I'm over here just trying to imagine how amazing the build could be if we could just get more out of the aspects we do have. Knockout is basically only there to proc galvanic armor, and that's after having two other fragments to make you tankier. And Diamond Lance is just kinda there and isn't super important to the build at all it's just nice to have for freezing enemies with.
Titans are really only good for soloing content like this just because they can stay alive In raids and multi-player content they don't really have a lot to work with
@@Cillian-wwweeeeSomething like controlled demolition to make all titan abilities cause volatile and heal at close range would be cool, stuff like diamond lance will just literally never be good because you have to stop using anything else, warlocks have multiple insanely easy passive builds and hunters have far better melee loop, it just doesn't work right on titan.
strange.. i'm doing the exact same thing and my champs refuse to get one shotted. i look at the bottom left to see if Peregrine is active and make the melee, but they sometimes refuse to get any noticable damage and sometimes they get a good portion, but never one shot.
@@hughestom1 Yes combined with bullwark aspect. For prismatic from my understanding you have to proc knockout and get a darkness de-buff (facet of courage) to increase melee damage.
It’s a trade-off of whatever you like more, a simple to execute combo with void Titan that can also go away easily, or prismatic where it can be close to the total damage from a multitude of buffs
@@nathanroyster1324 it is def not a must, but helps for certain GMs like glassway. this week gm is a joke so not needed, just gotta watch the champs aggro or stun them then pop em
every time i see him going for a peregrine strike feels like Grouse from TheRussianBadger's MvCC tournament going "DEAR GOD VERGIL WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!"
How do you get non-void peregrine to do so much damage? I thought it was only able to 1 shot full health champs when it was on void and you added an overshield for the extra melee damage. When I don’t have the overshield I only do ab 1/3-1/2 the health of a champ
@@Samsonfsuse heartshadow with peregrines it makes it so easy. Just run void Titan with it and heavy attack behind your barricade then run in with free invis
Great build! I think this goes to show that prismatic titan did in fact have potential beyond the ol' frenzied blade consecration combo, bungie just sorta fumbled the bag in certain aspect selections and the exotic class item.
not really. It is a solid build but the exotic and the gamer is doing most the heavy lifting and this build has an extremely niche use case. Great for single target damage in GMs or master lost sectors. That's basicaly it though. In something like legendary onslaught I think it would struggle and it has the same issues as all other titan builds when it comes to long range DPS. Prismatic is basically just giving them knockout and facet of courage for extra melee damage but there's no real synergy happening. Most of his healing is coming from devour via buried bloodline IMO exotic class item with hoil/point contact is superior for prismatic in all around gameplay but that is only with consecration lol
@@nathanroyster1324 I can definitely agree, Titans have struggled on anything that wasn't solar or strand (and maybe stasis) for a while now and exotics while good were just bandaid fixes. Cuirass to make up for thundercrash's literal unnoticeable damage being the best example. Bungie really needs to fundamentally tweak some of their subclasses, especially prismatic.
if you get the timing wrong with how long you're in air you do significantly less damage, like 1000%. I'm not kidding lol. Normal shoulder charge melee hits for around 30k I think. Peregrine 10x that. Also depends on whether or not you have knockout proc'd.
TLDR: Not really, but it fits here. Legendary primaries have to be next level to be relevant at all, disparity just happens to fit a bunch of niches for this build. Anti barrier, stasis for lances, one of the higher damage pulse frames, legendary to accommodate exotic special. The other options would be new purpose (terrible reload perk options but does have adaptive munitions), psi hermetic (awful pve frame), syncopation (also bad pve frame), and stay frosty (currently unobtainable).
Facet of Courage gives your light abilities increases damage when the target has a darkness debuff on them like suspend or slow/freeze. You might not be applying a darkness debuff to get the damage increase
Question for you as I see you using an older seasonal pulse rifle: Is the Season of the Fish (?) strand pulse rifle 'Different Times' being slept on this season or is it just me? I imagine Frenzy helps more with GM content here and perhaps you're running harmonic siphon, but is there a good reason everyone and their mothers aren't using 'Different Times' besides when using 'The Call' or an exotic strand primary? Subsistence/Hatchling feels solid on the gun and it can also blow up tangles like none other this season.
Got 3 minutes in before realizing you weren't Esoterickk. Thumbnail was very similar to those of his (pretty sure you used the same font) so I just assumed
yah compare to warlock and hunter they are, bruh i've done solo on hunter 13min and warlock 14, but when i tried titan couldn't do sub 15, just finished sub 20min, so yah it is weak compare to other classes, even i prefer using void subclass over prismatic on peregrine build...
1 good thing i see titans have got out of prismatic is finally seeing a titan solo nezzy bonus bc i love Buried Bloodline but don’t have it and its a joy seeing people use it 😭
Its peregrine greaves, using the facet that gives arc grenade the jolt effect which stuns overload champions, the boots helps boost the damage to be able to one shot the champions, his sidearm gives devour and applies weaken if you have the catalyst for it
I see too many comments from titan mains saying “oh just imagine if we actually had good builds and aspects/fragments to go along with builds” and I sit here saying to myself how are they going to complain when titans have been the most used and most broken subclass of all time and the one time you guys don’t have anything you start crying like you never had any good or broken times as titan. Play warlock and Hunter and you’ve experienced far more downsides in destiny history.
"most used subclass" literally how delusional can you be lmao, the only good titan build has been strand lmao, hunter is objectively the best character in every single capacity outside of purely the banner of war aspect AND the most played class. You are literally mentally deficient to deny that fact.
@@vantablack949 then maybe bungie could actually balance the insanely overtuned multiple hunter builds instead of letting them sit because it's the most played favourite class LMAO
@@mauri_dap5063 because warlock is the EASIEST class to play, but hunter is still objectively the best, devour is just significantly easier and more forgiving than say liars handshake prismatic hunter.
