RIght when I made it to the island and I started to unload my gear I broke my camera mount for my tripod...this could have been a big deal but I was able to rig up my camera setup to still get some shots but it made things difficult! Ha, nothing is ever easy. Anyways I still have a good trip!
Love your self deprecating sense of humor, as simple as you are! You are getting good with that fire steel my man. The frogs need loving too? too funny. Thanks again Dave.
Ya mine wasn't as bad as yours, for sure. My DJI camera took it like pro. It did affect the audio a bit but not too bad. I wish I was rolling at the time, it would have been funny. Good luck with your camera.
Yep, I like simple. I find I don't enjoy myself when I complicate things too much. For me I try to keep it simple but not overdoing it. I wanted to have a fish fry but after a while I noticed the fish were not biting so I just moved on. For the filming aspect, I just didn't bring as much gear with me, so I had to keep it simple. Thanks for watching.
Looked a great location, temping to move to Canada 😊 Enjoyed the video, you cannot beat a camp fire. You are going to have to get a reflector oven, then Pain au Chocolat for breakfast.
Nice to see you back out again another lovley spot great food awesome fire and soo peaceful sorry about the fish teasing you, youll get one real in slow then jerk it a couple times then reel in a bit slower than you do. sucks about the camara at least you didnt go for an unwilling dip lol. always enjoy your videos . Ontario.
Okay you have done it! You have convinced me to try hammock camping. I literally just stopped the video and started hammock shopping. What is the setup that you are using? Thanks for the video, looks great!
Nice. Good for you. I think every camper should try out a hammock to see if they like it. I was pretty comfortable in my setup. I have a basic hammock and underquilt. I do need to upgrade my hammock system though.
I hope you remembered the bug repellent. I'm glad to see you able to get back to the important things. Life is too short. My best memories are by the river in the Blue Ridge mountains camping in South Carolina. USA. Thanks for all the videos. Oh yeah... The smoke from the Quebec fire's were down here on 7-16. Very bad air quality.
I always bring the bug spray but I rarely use it. I have sprayed my clothes with permethrin before hand and it really helps with the bugs, they are still around but don't bite much. The Blue Ridge Mountains sound like a great spot to camp. Sorry about the smoke!
