I really like your new format in this video. The music is relaxing too and fits with the beautiful scenery. Hope to see more videos of the Lake Tahoe area.
Dude this Sheet is dope. You have to go and Hike Mt. Rose if you haven't there is a small waterfall and like 4 different biomes as you hike to the top.
Enjoyed the format; even didn't mind the music during the beginning silent overview as it was low key and non intrusive. I would love to see Aloha Lake but would have to make it as an overnight backpack trip which can be a zoo and permit hassle. Awesome you can hike 13 miles in about 4 hours. Wish I could!
First off congratulations on River. Secondly, I dig the new format. FYI I clicked on your Amazon links to check out your gear. Unfortunately, only a couple of them actually took me to the product. The other ones just took me to Amazon home page. Not sure if it was my computer or the link but wanted to give you a heads up.
Hi! I love al your videos and appreciate so much how you film it. I have a question. If you have done sabrina lake to blue lake and beyond. I have permits for this summer. I’m curious what should say two be. Day hike to donkey lake or day hike to emerald lakes. What did you feel is prettier and why? Thank you!!
Congratulations to you and your wife. River is a beautiful name and I’m sure you guys are overjoyed with this little guy. Love you videos. Keep experimenting with new styles. Love all of them.
Your videos are great! Excellent picture quality, sharp and colorful, and you really capture the vibe of the place. I've been hiking up from Fallen Leaf Lake, just north of there. You can get to Lake Aloha that way, too. There are also similar cabins up that way, too. I've always wanted to take a few days to go through Desolation Wilderness from the entrance near Emerald Bay and exiting near where you were.
There are no actual campsites around Echo Lake. The closest car camping is going to be at the Lovers Leap campground in Strawberry, which is about 10 miles away. On the other hand, you could probably get away with sleeping in your car at the parking lot at Echo Lake. And you MIGHT be able to disperse camp in the woods around Echo Lake. But there are no actual campsites at Echo Lake.
Awesome video! Hike looked absolutely gorgeous, and mixed terrain too! Also love how you are experimenting with different video styles. I liked this one for sure. Keep up the great work! Also, how do you hike these so dang fast?!
