Solo Hiking at Lake Mead

Water levels have dropped to a record low exposing many sunken boats and artifacts, today we will be searching for a specific boat I discovered on satellite imagery.
As far as a water level update for March 2023, the lake seems to be holding steady due to the heavy rain and snowfall this winter.

I live in Arizona. I've always said we are going to run out of water one day. People should be cognizant of how much they use NOW and not wait until its too late. I've always wanted to see what's at the bottom of lakes. Thx trooper.

That Crestliner has a 165 hp Mercruiser in line 6 damn good motor or was . Somebody took a saw and cut the top off the two sections are bonded together at the factory they wont come apart with just water lover the video

This is going to be an interesting spring/summer. The lake can’t support recreation and the level will probably drop even more. Projected to lose another 20ft which most likely means a total shutdown. I’d get your little boat out while you can!

I guess they support fish providing a hiding place for molt but they place out conrete pipes and other hollows to provide the cover -if they were smart and cared about the fishing commuinty but its seems to be for boats and recreation only lake

At the bottom of the lake is a Boeing B-29 Superfortress that crashed in 1948 while testing a prototype missile guidance system known as "suntracker". The wreckages of at least two smaller airplanes are submerged in Lake Mead

I got a red hot idea, why don't you get up a crew and you guys pick up all the crap you finding in what was Lake meade and clean it all up? That way when the water comes back the trash will be gone and it will be nice and clean again. Just a thought.

You have to imagine all the sunken boats in Lake Mead are there most likely because of operator error, or accident. Its not like the ocean where a huge storm comes up with huge waves and overtakes a boat. It can get rough on Lake Mead but not to the point where an average sized boat wouldn't be able to survive a healthy 10 minute storm. Stupidity, alcohol and probably inexperience sunk most of these.
