🏔️ Hiking in Mission Peak
Join me as I hike Mission Peak in Fremont, California! This challenging 6-mile (9.7 km) round-trip trail offers stunning views of the Bay Area and features an elevation gain of 2,100 feet (640 meters). The hike typically takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and dress in layers, as the weather can change quickly. Many people also go for the sunset, the view from the peak are breathtaking. Lace up your boots, and let’s conquer Mission Peak!

Your videos showed up when I needed you the most! Besides the daily dark scenes, you are the lense and sound of peace, serenity, and beautiful untouched nature as should always be the case for at least 50% of the Earth's population who are losing their mind over materialistic and virtual lives...Thank You ^^

The grass on California hills are an invasive species brought by Spanish settlers back in the 1500s. Prior to this, the native California grasses which are also drought tolerant tended to stay green year round. The invasive grass only turns green during the rainy seasons but otherwise is dry and more prone to fires.

This was really great. Thank you for this. This seemed to take a lot of effort. A little surprising after watching your great video of the three passes hike in the Everest region. Nice job with the drone. Keep up the great work.

Haha, yes this wasn't that easy, I think I'm a little out of shape since I haven't done a long hike in awhile! But I hope to go back to Nepal later this year so I have to start training!

just FYI, mission peak is a preserve so you cant pick the flowers there, especially California poppy. it is also stated in the park map that you cant fly a drone or destroy plants..

Are you from there? I grew up in Fremont. Btw I'm tracing your footsteps in Patagonia, Nepal, and next week to 7 Lakes Ausangate and Huayhuash. I would like to visit亚丁，雨崩，四姑娘大峰next year as well, Thanks for introducing me to those hikes.

I am not, but staying in bay area for a bit. You must've done this hike before! Wow, great! I hope to go back to 亚丁 and 四姑娘大峰 at some point to do the full hike, I was short on time, but it was still great!

I've hiked there a few times This is definitely one of the most beautiful times I've seen it. I would try De Afghanan Cusiine in Fremont for authentic afghan food. You can't go wrong with Kabuli Pulao (basmati rice with raisins and carrots) and mantu (dumplings)
