Addicted to your channel - same as to Simon‘s 😉 Love your starting a fire, your cooking styles anyhow and this tent seams to be kind of perfect match 😍
Enjoyed the video. I assume that we were seeing some sort of thermometer or thermal sensor in some of the shots of the cooking meat. Could you tell me a bit about it, what brand/model etc? Thanks my friend.
Love the shots of you walking past the camera then off in the distance but jeez it would p*ss me off walking back every time to get the camera , set it up and do it all again and again 😂
Hello Andy, really enjoyed the two night camp with your tent raised on your truck, some of the food you had over those two days was immense, looking forward to this, many thanks.
Good demonstration of the Pomoly hot tent and titanium stove/fire pit. If I might describe the tent as 'conical', I LIKE how that shape sheds high, swirling wind, especially if the apex is anchored in the ground. The conical cap is made for more adjustment than you started with: leaving the leeward side of the cap open will dramatically lessen interior condensation. I have a specialist book on American Plains Indian Teepees that breaks down the 'technology' our First Nations understood to control moisture: it included the adjustable cap and flaps and an interior drip liner. So...Pomoly may be following 'Hallowed' and proven traditional techniques.
I see all these comments are from 3yrs+ , but love your vids. If youre still using this tent as hot, may i suggest folding the footprint in half first and pin down. The double layer for the sleeping area is always nice.
Great video dude!! I got the same tent and stove is on the way!! Can't wait to try the stove out!! What's your recommendation to roll the stove pipe out?
1 sausage....1 bacon.....1 egg..... are you on a diet big man...?😂 brilliant video, gets you in the mood for getting out there, thanks. 👍👍👍🏴🏴🏴
You give such a large happy smile at the talk of decreasing temperatures and inclement weather 😊 I love your content and your cooking demonstrations I've used at home...still haven't perfected the Wellington but that's why I watch your channel. Thank you, think it's time for my bedtime 💤💤💤💤💤
That tent really does look bomb proof! Going through your old vids and I'm sure you've used that tent in other camps.....Love the way you film things Andy, great work as always.😊
🔥🏕 beautiful camp, Andy! Loved it. Enjoyed the Bushcraft, the tent and stove and campfire cooking...always the best. Thanks so much🙏 and have a great week.
I reckon Werner Herzog would fancy Ange’s channel here. I don’t know if our kid realizes but the footage is loaded with ‘ecstatic truth’. See Herzog’s Grizzly Man to cop what I’m on about. 🎥 🎞 🏕
Been watching you for a while now. Great videos. you help with my anxiety and you ease my mind, when I watch your videos!! Keep up the great work! You always eat so good 😂. ✌🏻 from 🇺🇸
sitting enjoying several Brew Dog beers with you, only got an electric fire in my flat, but when you heat your hands on your fire, I feel as if I'm heating mine on it!, love your videos Andy!
Another great video Andy! I would love to see a video on that Trekology sleeping pad on your Gear & Review channel, I'm looking to buy one myself and am very interested to hear your thoughts!
Good tips for chopping kindling so you don't chop your fingers off! I think that the smaller space of the sleeping area in the tent would be warmer through the night, leaving the rest of the tent area for storage. You gave the tent good marks. I heard a chap today extol the health benefits of spending time in woodland, just to breathe the freshness and relax the mind. You get a lot of goodness from your nights out there.
honestly i watch your videos all the time, but if you are going to cook a steak for gods sake let it rest for 5-10 minutes with some foil lightly covering it so it can reabsorb the juices. you will appreciate it!
Couple questions, was that the original Hex tent and not the plus? Also did Pomoly send that to you? Not that I mind was just curious. I watch a lot of LoneWolf and he said they sent them all of his.
Great video as ever....using a sewn in ground sheet for once....noticed yourself and a few other channels seem to prefer a separate ground sheet, any reason? Tks.
Im really surprised you managed to get the hot tent in your bag tent looked great and so did the food as always. I have to admit when you got the steak out at first glance I thought it was a heart😂😁👍
Hello mate, I have the same tent and stove. Be careful of the stove jack, the edging trim around the hole comes away very easily after a few nights near the heat. Can you tell me where you got that ground sheet from? Looks like a great fit.
Great tents, I've got the Hex, the Hex plus and the hot shelter from Pomoly as well as the timber stove and the T1 mini stove. Hope we get some snow this year to put them all to good use, even though I've put mine to good use already, atb👍🏕🔥👌
Hey Andy great video! love your content keep it up I watch every video you put out lol. Wanted to jest let you know that when rolling out your stove pipe it’s best to do it on a angle almost like a candy cane swirls in stead of a straight long roll up the side it works way easier & quicker when setting it up and it creates a much better seal on the pipe & less chance of putting to much pressure on it trying to force it to roll and then ending up with little dings and dents in your pipe. If you Give it a try jest remember it takes a little bit of height off the stove pipe.
Another excellent video! Can you recommend a good day/overnighter rucksack at a decent price? I was looking at a 35/38L patrol pack. Any thoughts. Thanks
Did you import the stove? I have looked at Winnerwell folding stoves and they are priced at£475. How does your stove compare in price with any import taxes included. I need a folding stove as I go bushcrafting using my can am Spyder trike. The tent seems to tick all the boxes.
Hi John, they are very similar stoves and only used them both a couple of times, I like the windows on this one though. Pomoly do a mini which I am interested in for longer hikes. im going to take all my stoves out and go over the differences as soon as I can to give you a better overview.
