That looks like a great time. I've crossed a lot of fishing adventures off my bucket list over the years, but fishing overnight in a luxury ice house is still on it. Every time I watch you do it, I think "I gotta do that". I could sit out there for a week and never get bored, I love to fish. Thanks for the video and take care out there.

@@frankslaman3950 If you are on a budget or dont ice fish much, ice fishing can be very simple. You can use your 6 ft rods outside. Your fly reels used to be really popular to mount above holes as a rattle reel. Decent ice combo rods dont cost much. You can even wrap mono around a pop can and hand line fish. Or rent.

If u like tarter sauce, u should really make ur own. Miracle whip, relish, and lemon juice is all u need. Blows that bottled stuff out of the water and will take ur fish to the next level. Add diced fine jalapeño for yet another level.

My friend and I just got back from red out of JR’s Conner limited out on walleye got 11 perch, caught one northern 35 1/2 inch ! We were 7 1/2 miles out . Most of the walleye we’re on dead stick.

Just some advice: 1.) If you J-Hook their gills you can quickly pull away and basically cut them with your finger. A lot easier than sawing with a knife. 2.) If you wait right until you fillet the fish to kill them they'll be much fresher.
