I used to watch your videos when I was about 15 maybe? I’m 22 now and going through all my old subscriptions, and remembering why I liked your channel so much!
Hi i know i comment on most of your videos but I literally can’t help it, I love your vibes and the way you do things when you’re travelling etc., how mindful you are to buy gifts that are very unique to people. I also just realized that now I’ve been going to places by myself, I think i got influenced by you! Going to places by yourself might seem a bit odd but it’s just so much fun to be by yourself and enjoy your own company!
thank you so much! I love gift-giving and it's fun to have a mission to find specific things for friends and family while I'm traveling. also that's so great about trying more things solo!! you're spot on about being able to enjoy your own company. it opens up opportunities to do so many more things, you're not waiting around for anyone ☺️♥️
thank you so much! sometimes the camera and lighting does me favours, but I have updated my products in the last 1-2 yrs and it's made such a difference. I'll have to make an updated routine video soon.
omg Insimnia cookies lol. there is one by my local college campus in North Carolina, I think they do that on purpose. they’re open late so drunk and stoned college students can go get some cookies
So lovely!! I love you vlogs sm Sofie 🥰 they are seriously so fun to watch and I love how you travel alone, makes me want to do it as well! Can’t wait for the rest of the vlogs 🥳
IMPECCABLE vibes in this vlog, Sofie!! 🤩So so excited for the rest of the travel vlog series and the USA haul :D not to be fake deep bc I know you are on holiday and this isn't like your everyday life but your vlogs really inspire me to appreciate my day to days more and like fill it with good vibes haha- I've been to Boston myself but I didn't pay any attention to lots of things your vlogs have highlighted 💟
not fake deep at all I actually love what you said and seriously made my day!! it's always fascinating and really rewarding to hear you guys' perspectives on my vlogs and/or how they make you feel. what you described is very much what I aim to achieve with my vlogs it so I'm really glad! ☺️♥️
Woah! so weird to watch one of your travel vlogs about the city I live in!! I have never been to Donut Villa but now I know how cute it is, I am definitely going ASAP to get some of those amazing looking waffles!!!
I still think about donut villa diner! it was my favourite food spot I visited in Boston. if you do end up going, please comment or DM me about how it goes 🧇
i live in boston so it was super cool seeing you go to all my favorite vegan spots!!! next time you're here, you should check out taco party in somerville (just north of boston, east of cambridge). it's a 100% vegan taco shop that with nachos that are to die for 🤤
omg funny you say that cos did you see me looking at Taco Party at 17:35 I had it marked on my Boston map. I think the reason I didn't go was that it was closed or too far away? I would have loved to go though, it sounds amazing!! I really hope I get to return sometime in the near future
Sofie, where has been your favourite place you have been to, in the USA so far? I love these vlogs, was missing them lol. Btw, your hair looks so adorable in pigtails
tysm 🥺 I don't have a singular favourite, but I want to return to NYC the most cos there's so much more to explore! (this trip was my first time returning to NYC as an adult and it was so diff to when I visited as a teen). the new england area has also become a new fav and I'd also like to see more of it, perhaps in autumn. still also really enjoy LA, especially as I spent so long there in 2015, holds a lot of memories. omg it's hard to decide!!
Hi lovely!! Just wondering what app you used to log down all the places you wanted to go to?? I'm travelling soon and that would be super helpful... Thank you!!!!
of course! it's Google My Maps. you can create a custom map and mark locations on it. easier to do on desktop then browse it on Google Maps app when you're out and about (on mobile app it's under Saved>Maps. you can add layers to the map to group certain things, I usually group by state or city that I'm visiting. can also customise the markers to different symbols and colours
Do you find driving in the States to be difficult? I’d love to travel solo but I’m so anxious about different driving customs in different countries ;-;
not at all, because I'm so used to it now and did some preparation / learning. if you've never driven on the opposite of the road before, it feels weird! here in Australia we drive on the left side. the very first time I drove in USA in 2015, I got a lesson with a driving school in LA which helped so much. they also filled me in on driving rules. you can even just take a few laps around rental car pickup to feel comfortable. request a type of car you feel comfortable driving. if you drive on the same side as USA, all you'd need to do is look up local rules and laws. I also ask the rental company in each state when picking up my car if there are any state-specific rules I should be aware of, e.g. in Oregon you can't pump your own gas. I hope that helps! don't let driving a car hold you back! just do a bit of research, make sure you're never rushing and it's super fun and liberating
Have you ever been to a Mediterranean country? (Spain, Italy, Greece) would you be interested in this type of weather/culture? I think it's wonderful to experience such countries around summertime, if you can bear the heat ofc 😅😅 lovely video nonetheless ❤️
I've only been to France when I was a little kiddo and don't remember any of it, but I would love to visit Spain, Egypt and Italy! Greece too :) I would try to visit perhaps when it's less hot!
