The title is a bit misleading. The most dangerous barrio in Mexico isn't in Mexico city....

I'm half-filipino...and have been to Pepito. As the video shows, It's pretty chill during the daytime. But notice he wasn't there when the sun went down--it's a different animal at night. But during the daytime, as long as you don't wear $200 Jordans...lots of blingy jewelry and clothes...and just walk around and blend in with the crowd, you'll be safe. I also cary small bills and lots of coins to pay for my street tacos---to show that I'm just a poor American. I never have large-denomination pesos--and I keep my credit card out of my wallet and leave it in my pocket.
