Lake Mead can be bypassed on your adventure up the Colorado. Get to Glen Canyon Dam and prepare to have your mind blown by Lake Powell. What you’ve seen so far is the baby brother to Powell. It is magnificent, to say the least. I live on the river in Bullhead City near Laughlin. You’ve documented our precious area in a beautiful way. Thank You!
Had to come back to this video, I remember the first day I was thinking about buying a SeaDoo and then I watched this video had me 100% convinced to buy one and get out on the water, have had my ski for 9 months now and loving every minute of it! Thank you Adam for your amazing videos, always makes my day that little bit better when I see a video in my sub box, keep up the amazing work!
I think episodes like this one (which I really enjoy btw) could def be interspersed with sections of pov/nature sounds giving us a deeper understanding of the ambience you're experiencing.........but not the whole vlog, I like the craic 👍
Not for every video but your solo-dolo adventures would work to have a smidge of the ASMR stuff. As a matter of fact, you know what you are doing lol. Just do what feels right bro.
I live in vegas and do that trip with my boat often. That cave you were in we call emerald cave. With the sun in the right spot in the afternoon it glows emerald green. Check it out if you go back that way. Great video!
This is awesome dude! One of my favourite videos you’ve ever made! I could have watched hours of this. The nature is so incredible and the way you filmed it was epic
what a beautiful place and unforgettable experience you're having! i could easily imagine a little floating eco-village; fully self-sustaining with solar panels, wind turbines, aquaponic food grows, etc., on that river.
Wow! Didn’t realize they took out that sketchy ladder up to the hot springs! That’s super nice! Glad they took out the other dams at the springs, the pool closest to the origin was super hot!
i ride a 2015 Seadoo Rxt 260 Xas, this was the off shore racing model they started making around 2010 and stopped in 2016. it has a fully adjustable suspension, definetely the most comfortable ride on the water and especially designed for long distance rides. Amazingly i have no ankle, back, knee, leg and minimal shoulder and wrist pain after riding 180 miles or more in a day. I have riden from Page Arizona to Bull Frog Marina. i have a 17.8 gal tank. I have riden from Portland Oregon to Astoria Oregon the mouth of the Columbia River. You can get fuel in a small Marina in Cathlamette, Washington. I love the long rides and have on my list to go from Davis to Hoover Dam and also from Laughlin to Lake Havassu someday. Hope to see you out there. thanks for the video. I was expecting to see a rattle snake near your camp site...be sure and make noise and watch where you step when in the Desert.
@@AdamSwords the ride is so smooth and many other jetskiers try to stay with me thru rough waters only to fly off or slow down. honestly there is some diadvantages like higher center of gravity (tip over potential at high speeds if your not prepared), and if your in high waves, river rapids the water rushes under the floating suspended deck and if your not moving forward constantly with nose up the water will build under deck and cause the ski to loose its stability and roll you over...looses its bouyancy basically. if you loose power this model will float but not with you on it basicly in high waves. if you reverse too fast the water goes under deck as well and will loose stability. most lakes and rivers you won't have an issue cause the swells need to be coming over the sides or through the rear opening. some of the seadoo gtx models have the suspension system but its not adjustable like the models i have.
Adam, this is another awesome video! I'm following you for quite a long time and you are such an inspiration for solo traveling. This year I had a VW T5 custom built as a camper van and am now traveling across Europe together with my dog finding my every day adventures. Over the past couple weeks I traveled from The Netherlands to Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia in to Northern Italy where I just watched this one. Keep on doing what your doing!💪🏼
a couple buddies and I along with our dogs did a 2 night expedition up to the dam from the marina and back down to a nice wash for camp. Awesome to relive it on this upload of yours.
Ive been watch your RU-vid videos' for like a year now while figuring out which jet ski im going to get, and last two months 100% sold me on the explorer pro. your videos are just amazing to watch
And I thought I was the only one who taked to the animals on the trail. Love the content. ASMR is what you were describing as a video you would like to do. They are cool if there showing something of interest. Like building something in the wild, cooking something, etc. Keep up the great adventures they are truly inspiring.
I’m 70 and have owned many fast road vehicles but not water vehicles. I’m so tempted. At any rate you put together great vids and I hope you keep it up.
Adam I turn 40 in 6 months and I need this in my life! Thank you for these videos, amazing content and I felt like I was going along for the ride. I need to experience this for myself.
this could be my favourite video....thats one hell of a view to wake up to......i love the desert heat, you can feel it in your bones....so relaxing...also a nice homer and pinchy moment.....invention idea....seadoo that turns into a quad....great vid m8
Love the content Adam! Would love a zen nature sound only vlog trip with no music and just your POV! Possibly another river trip to an area you haven’t been yet. Maybe Colorado River north of Lake Meade if you’re able to go up there. All the best and keep up the great work! 🤘
Adam I just did this ride from Cottonwood to Hoover dam last weekend with the AriZona PWC enthusiasts group out of Phoenix. So gorgeous. I’m in so cal but have a place in Havasu and have done Davis dam to Parker on PWCs and probably 5 miles down Parker at one time or another. Doing a Catalina run with the group 7/13. First time to there. Excited
Nice ski and love all your accessories! Keep up the narratives for sure and the music too. Lake Mead has been my go to for 24 years now. I don’t fish, I just sun and swim and sun some more. Anyway, the dam making Lake Mead … you could have made one last turn for a full cool view of the dam from down below. I think you’d have really enjoyed the size and overall experience of being so close to it. There’s a line with many bobbers that let you know, you can’t go any further. You were SO close! 😊 That view looking up at the dam from Black Canyon is awesome. Keep up the fun videos!
Great video- you captured the quintessential vibe! Did the Grand Canyon rafting trip last year and am planning to move to SW Utah so I can do exactly what you’re doing! Also you got a great on screen persona so a no speaking video would not be ideal for your skills 🤗. Keep the great content coming!
@@AdamSwords it was amazing!!!! My buddy has been entering the lottery for years and someone that had gotten their permit (for a private, guide-less expedition) dropped out and the NPS asked him if he could put together a team in time (last minute) luckily we had 3 legit pros and 2 advanced rowers and the rest like me completely new by the end of the trip I had the basics down and how to read the river. Blew me away - I really don’t want to camp any other way ever again lol. That pristine landscape, clean fine sand, no bugs and I didn’t mind the chocolate milk colored river. Hot days (just jump in the river) and star filled night skies and a fun team is a trip I’ll never forget and top experiences I’ve ever had. Do it! Even with a pro outfit would be a blast (although quite a bit pricier and with strangers, can be hit or miss). I might start entering the lottery myself so I can get a chance to put together my own team (basically you need to submit resumes and have at least half the team be experienced as in have done the exact trip previously: lees ferry to Diamond creek.)
Mate, it was a pleasure stumbling onto your channel and seeing your adventure up into Black Canyon. One of my favorite spots on the Colorado river. I hope you got to see the sauna cave on your trip and just didn't video it. The workers on the dam dug deep into the canyon wall back in the 30's and it's amazing. It is covered by some small trees and hard to spot at first. One thing to mention is that personal watercraft are not allowed in the canyon from Labor day until Memorial day but the best way to experience the canyon is on a jet ski because water levels can change drastically and beach larger boats. Lake Mead would be the next up but at some point you will reach rapids in the grand Canyon. One way traffic down on rafts. And then of course Lake Powell, now that is the Lake to have a jet ski on for exploring all the amazing canyons. Stay safe brother! :)
I like watching all of your videos and I really do watch all of them but my god these camping videos are my absolute favorite❤ Looking forward to more jetski and truck camping videos. Greetings from Slovenia👋🏼
Lake Mead is beautiful and you did see some amazing views in this video. If you want to take a trip to another level. Take your SeaDo to Lake Powell. Especially near HorseShoe Bend.
Hey adam. When you were speaking about the hull of your jet ski and what to put on it to protect it, I possibly have a solution. Here where I live, we do boating very differently. We launch directly from the beach and when it comes to loading our boats, well.....we just ram the boats up on shore. We also use fiberglass hulls. We have steel or aluminum metal plates on the bottom of our boats. Not the whole hull tho. Just the keel and some of the above. So if you could I'm sure you could MacGyver it and put an aluminum or steel plate on the bottom of the hull.
Definitely do silent camping, but you must bring diesel and if you’re going to do it, it will be awesome if it was a really long episode so we could sort of zen out too.. at least 45 minutes plus… great episode. Thanks
You need to pack a small telescope to view the beauty of the planets, stars and galaxies under those dark skies, I'm sure you'll find that awe inspiring as well! Love the content of your videos Adam. Greetings from South Wales UK.
@@AdamSwords no sir pick a weekend when a bunch of boats go up and jump in the line! We do it maybe once a year granted the lake was incredibly dead when you went!! “ jealous “!
You need an Insta360 X3 camera to get some epic rear ski shots. I just got one and they are friggin awesome! I think the ASMR video would be great in the right context, but your talking in the videos is what keeps them engaging and funny!
8:57 I will pull the trigger and get to it so can do it man , I shared that joy with you brother. What a great experience haven’t even finished the video hah
The last time i was at mohave i found that same dumped jet ski. I love Mohave by far my favorite place to boat. The best part of the lake is certainly north of the basin.
It's so funny I was researching jetski stuff and was like wait.... isn't that the dude from Producer Michael!? Good to see you killing it with your channel and I'm very jealous that its Skis!
Thank you! Watching your journey and getting all the amazing commentary from you is awesome. I thoroughly enjoy watching your adventures. I can’t wait to one day have a Seadoo of my own. I yearn to be back at sea on such a capable vessel. There’s genuinely no place I’d rather be. You have inspired me to find my every day adventure! Thank you!
I’m loving this I grew up in the Southwest You really need to hike through the Grand Canyon for a week or two Waking to spectacular views It’s such a great adventure Cheers!
That was a great episode. Your fuel stop is our weekend jet ski spot in the summer. The views on the Colorado River are unreal, and you did an outstanding job of capturing the beauty. I am a fairly new subscriber and just followed on Instagram and FB as well. Keep the videos coming!!!
That was great enjoyed the ride somewhere I’ve never been and probably never go only with u Adam tkz for sharing its caring love ya pretty have a great day 😊
Great video, Adam. I would love to see a video of a Mississippi River adventure. I know that’s kind of far from where you are located, but it would be cool nonetheless.
Greetings from Warwickshire, you should definitely try and see if you can eventually take the jet ski up to Page in Arizona, if you could get it in the water around Horseshoe Bend (Lees Ferry) I am sure you would be equally impressed!!
I absolutely love this episode this looks like a blast I’ve been wanting to plan a kayak version of this trip you make me want to go out and buy a Sea Doo man! This would be a blast solo also
Hey Adam, good to hear, are you going to let us meet this lovely girl you really like?? This is amazing seeing the Hoover Dam, great adventure. Beautiful views all around you and so peaceful. Don’t forget to hydrate. No no no, listening to your commentary and excitement at the things you see is fun too. Really enjoyed you showing me places I will never get to experience in my lifetime. ❤️❤️❤️
Currently saving money and doing a bunch of maintenance to my suv/getting a tow hitch put on. But 6 months to a year down the road I should be able to pull the trigger on a sea doo fish pro and I am excited
Great trip Adam. I’am going to Vegas in November, was planning to visit, Hoover Dam , but now, I’am going to see if I can do a overnight, trip on the river, it going to easy more fun.
Hey Adam! Las Vegas local here. I’m on this river every weekend I get. We launch at willow beach and either head towards the damn to the hot springs or away from the damn to lake Mohave. Most beautiful place to ride in my opinion. I’ve been coming here for years now and this video makes me want to camp there!! Such a cool video.
Amazing content Adam. Would love to do this but quite a drive from Cheshire! Oh and I don't have a jet ski ha ha. Keep the river/lake adventures coming mate. Great to watch with a cold glass of wine after work.
