Hi I liked the vid that much that I have signed up for a course at the local kayaking club. Would love a video on what you pack and how you pack your kayak for wild camps. Please keep the videos coming!
Mate! I’m so happy that you’ve said that. That’s made this whole video worth while then! Yes of course I can do a video on that, might not be the next video but soon I promise
Cracking video fella. The kayak gives access to some wonderful hidden gems so you’re pretty much guaranteed the place to yourself. Need a few lessons first both swimming (just in case 😂) and how to paddle in a straight line. Thanks for uploading 👏🏻
Great as always, my friend! The camp and nature is, amazing. Enjoy watching how you cook this delicious meals. And the surrounding nature is amazing. Cheers from Russia, bro, and welcome to my channel about Russian bushcraft tips! Regards, Yuriy!
Enjoyed that adventure of yours..Kayaking in beautiful Scotland, Hob nobs, then later; steak on the fire and camping on an island..perfect! On a serious note though, if you were planning to bag a munroe on your trip..what would you do with your Yak? I would never leave mine on the roof rack and go off to do something else! Unless you have a van that is!? Looking forward to watching some more of your adventures. Where do you get the ideas from for your trips, is it stick a pin in a map, curiosity, or recommendations..I'm curious? You seem to end up in some nice places. Take care buddy!😊
I have a very strong pull toward islands on Loch’s or lakes. Anything accessible only by boat. This one was because of that geographical oddity. But yeah after that throw a pin in a map and crack on. I kinda find something interesting and build on that. Thanks for watching!!
Who's Paul Messner....? Seriously though, love your work Sir, stunning scenery, great still water shots and (take note Mr Messner!) brilliant drone shots. I'm a sucker for drone shots...! Subbed yonks ago, Messner... pah.... 😜🤫😏
Ha! Without Paul this channel would still be largely invisible. My job now is to keep the mission of improving the quality and growing the channel. Thanks for your sub I’ll try and earn it
Really good watch, the island you camped on is a wonderful place. It was nice meeting you at the car park. Thanks for the heads up on the waterfall got some good photographs there.
I've been looking at a decent kayak to replace my inflatable. What boat is it you're using? Loved the video and hopefully I'll get out on a kayak camp soon!
@@TheGrayExplorer thanks, thought it was. Its one of the boats I've been looking at along with the pyranha fusion and venture flex. Just need to save some pennies! Will be really interested in your video on packing it out!
