In the manhwa one prisoner mannaged to escape Kang and was hiding, but Jinwoo caught him and fed him to the monsters. Sad they didnt include this but other than that great episode, even better are coming.

oh wow, maybe they are trying to make him a bit kinder in the anime. other comments have pointed out we havn't heard his internal thoughts in previous episodes which would have made him seem colder.

@@ReactCity Well they did make clear that his personality is gradually changing (the thing about his feelings dying out, him feeling something inside him breaking apart and of course the change in his overall attitude). He is still a kind person to those he cares about and isn't really becoming a psycho that loves killing like Kang, but it sure becomes easier for him to kill other humans

One of the anime changes I dont understad is why they didnt show mr Song training -you know who- and instead just showed him training some random guy. I guess they might show in one of the following episodes

The manwa was much more brutal... Kang asked the prisoners not if they could kill humans... but child goblins.... then Kang left the smiley one alive to torture later... which Sung found at the end and tortured before killing the boss... MUCH MORE BRUTAL.... but Great ep nonetheless....

I think they tried to squeeze to much into the episode they didn't convey to the audience how close that fight against Kang really was compared to the Manwa. They were very close in power and Jinwoo had final hailmary plan to kill Kang.

Yeah, this episode’s pacing was kinda weird compared to all the others. It’s kinda unfortunate but I saw it coming assuming we only have 3 episodes left.. and if we get to that arc I am hoping for in the anime’s opening.
