I think they balanced this fight really well. They give you the emergency heal once if you get low, just like the source material. I finished the fight with 10 seconds remaining, and i barely met the recommend power level. It was very fun.

Much appreciated I’m still lv 30 so decided to farm some arts for team and by luck also pulled the beast guy from standard although I’m keeping Joohee as my healer.

Thanks I barely beat him just now. I was having issues with the time limit. I leveled the light sword up to 30 and I barely won. I learned a lot about what the icons meant though from your explanation. I never paid attention to the break gauge before 😂

Actually had fun killing Igris day 2 as f2p. The fight wasn't obvious and you can learn his patterns within 4-5 tries. Very fun boss to beat :)

I really like how they made it difficult just like in the story 😂 had fun clearing this stage, at first I struggled with shield break even with proper skills. I used Cha, Jinho and KimChul, and the run was surprisingly quick 😂

I played this like 10 times (under powered) and almost beating Igris. Seen your @Payneblade vid talking about multi strike being OP and i beat Igris right after i switched to 2 break abilities. Big difference with just that one change.

I've been F2P since Day 1 by IGN TheOJz, been doing pretty well as far as leaderboards are concerned with clear speeds. Currently Rank 1 (for today) in Battlefield of Time Challenge and Kargalgan, surprised that I can even compete considering how much further i've seen other players' progression.

I just kept breaking Igris with Almighty break and medium break + SR Light Tank support. Failed a few times, but every attempt was closer to victory until actually beating him.

i beat igris with 4.88 seconds left yesterday it was so intense i thought i lost but did it felt kinda like a hard souls like boss was awesome im stuck at the moment cuz of xp i need to get lvl 40 or 41 to do more story stuff and im at the beginning of 39 edit: i needed to mention i had only the standard paralyze dagger lvl 20 a1 i think and the knight killer sword lvl 20 a0 when i did him and i think full ssr support seo cha and emma i think dont know if i already had all 3 of em at that point and im f2p got rly lucky on ssrs so far should be 8 now

yessir 20+ attempts on igris and only got to 4x health bar as my most progress, im mad struggling cause it's pretty hard to dodge when i cant see anything and constantly lagging tbh

I got the day 2 Igris kill but with some pretty lucky drops. Those being Dongsook, Plume + Grimoire, and 2 copies of cha lol. Honestly the game isn’t too difficult but I can see how not having the right gear can make it more difficult.

Man I am a F2P with decent luck, I had a full SSR team with Lim Gyu, Emma and 1 star Cha Hae with her signature weapon (got it from the event), Jin Woo with Plum level 30 and Shadow Scythe level 60 and still barely managed to win _💀_

I have the plum sword and the lustrous sword. Should I just go with the plum sword if I have it? Or is the lustrous sword doing something way better? Or should I be switching between the two during the fight? This was a really great video. Definitely helpful!

i have no issue with the mechanics was able to recognize his moveset and dodge most if not all after a few tries but no matter how aggressive I play I'm still running out of time 😭😭

Igris is the best boss to beat so far, i like him alot cause its fun to killing thie boss the pattern is not that hard and predictable but once you got stunned/airborne just restart the fight if you're f2p

Got an easy second day run with 60 lvl of SSR water book and light daggertoss rune :)
