Not all the manhwas have simple story other manhwas like legend of northern blade, the beginning after the end and specially Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint have a great story telling. (For fantasy lovers)

After watching 5-6 episodes of solo leveling I thought of reading the manwha. I was enjoying it at first but as time went I came to realise How Bland it is. Don't get me wrong I loved the art cuz it is really great but it's just an adventure mode game script with powerups. I still read almost all of it but it was very hard for me to continue the last 10-15 chapters. It looked like the author wanted to add some depth at the vey last moment to the characters but failed massively. Then I somehow decided to start Jojo. Heard a lot good things about part 7 steel ball run. And oh my goodness, this is what one should call PEAK. Cuz it is.

Accept for main character....jejú island bhi thoda sa hi fascinating hai..ig..

I would actually really recommend you to wait till after jeju island arc and then the world building and lore and other characters will get explored properly until then only sung jinwoo will keeep getting stronger and leveling up

I honestly really really love your videos and I think that you are one of the best anime tubers right now and I have a request can you make videos on some of the most sensitive and unheard topics of animes like I have seen a lot of people even you talking so much positive about anime as a genre but less people talk about the sensitive and dark part of Anime which is like the sexualisation of women, the over used tropes of shonen and its protagonist, the obsession with the sexualising children and pedophile, the toxic anime fan culture of and so on can you please make videos on these type of things and also can you recommend underrated and unheard Anime which deserves the attention of Anime audience in India. Animes which are more than just action Shonen and those Animes which have actual good story and good characters.

After I read solo levelling,I just thought that it the best a manhwa could do(no hate to writer)... We anime fans want fights but I guess writing and side characters are more important... But then I tried reading lookism and beleive it is 100 times more better than solo levelling even though the concept is completely different but it focuses on side character dreams and they have their own story too...

i like the anime coz they are trying to put the perspective of Other characters even in the midst of fight. its developing the side characters not only the jinwo. the fights are great,the characters are developing slowly, pacing is good its a solid power fantasy.

All I can hope for is a proper Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint adaptation. That thing actually has a storyline (im a novel reader) that I can compare to one piece and AoT. What it does EVEN better is the characters. It's also a story where you wish the most painful death for the main character for making you feel so much, while also hoping. HOPING, that he gets his deserved happiness. IDK if you read it or not, but Tarun, you need to read it.

I'll give u some manhwa recommendations that are much better then solo levelling 1.Hellper(189 chapters and completed,story is also very good and is available on webtoon) 2 .Horizon(20 to 25 chapters and completed if u like grave of fire flies you will love it) 3.legends of northern blade (190+ chapters and is still ongoing now this is something u should call PEAK) 4.Omniscient readers viewpoint (200+ chapters and is still ongoing the story is very good and recently an anime adaptation was also announced) 5.Tower of god(600+ chapters and is still ongoing the world building is secondary to only one piece) 6.Her summon (149 something chapters and it is completed most beautiful art and the character development is just amazing) 7.Greatest estate developer (available on webtoon i haven't read anything funnier then this in manhwa format you will die of laughter) 8.The great mage return after 4000 years (don't judge it by the name the story building is just way too good) 9.Player ( 200+ chapters and is still ongoing the story and plot is very good and the art is so cool) 10.Sss class suicide hunter (this one is just toooooo good the characters are very well written and i think gigguk made a vedio on this one so happy that it got the attention it deserved) This list is in no particular order and they might not be my top 10 because i have read so much of this manhwa shit that i don't even remember anymore and btw i did not included bastard because you've already read that

There's lot of Side Characters in Solo Leveling who played important roles in later part of the story and with time they impresses you as well... For example - Spoilers ahead- Thomas Andre, Hunter association Chairman, Choe, Yoo Jin Chul, Lee(even tho with minimal Screen time) and then there's character from Jin Woos own squad Idk if they are side but yeah Beru gets a special mention and then Bellion.. And most importantly Ashborn

My feeling abt solo leveling is decent. I find it enjoyable the story isn't too complex like stens gate or something but it is actually a simple story for me which I enjoyed.

The point regarding side characters is too valid. Side characters are non existent in this story. Exactly 3 characters are important apart from Sung Jin Woo. The Hunter Chairman, Jin Woo's wife and his friend(calls Jinwoo "Big bro"). And I don't remember their name. If you say the shadow army has good characters, Nah these are one dimensional characters. The characters I mentioned are the only 2 dimensional characters. The only interesting character is the mc.

My expectation in Solo Leveling was the face covered with blood in the trailer, other things I don't care, but for me I am still enjoying it, Not as a peak, As a Normal Watcher

I started anime and then read whole Manhwa in 2 days and I actually liked it a lot i am not saying it's peak or it's best out there but it gives what it promises, Overpowered MC, Amazing actions and visuals, Badass MC and it delivers, i started solo leveling just bcoz of its badasness and overpowered. I would recommend The Begining After the End if you want a Manhwa with Badass MC, good characters (side too), good story and world building

Let me drop some bombs for you! 1) Solo Levelling is a very "zero to hero" story with the MC getting edgy as he levels up. There are other such animes like Eminence of the Shadow, Rising of the Shield Hero etc. 2) Chainsaw Man is a bad rip off of High School DxD 3) JJK is also mid (The author tried to make Naruto in Parasyte the Maxim way, with a bit of existential crisis from Ergo Proxy 4) Frieren is good, but it almost feels like a 'mainstream' version of a combo of "To Your Eternity" and "Maquia" combined somehow. 5) Shangri-La Frontier is bad! It's nothing but an update to Sword Art Online (in the most generic manner as possible). Like it has great sakuga and all, but it has nothing else to offer.

It's not anything extraordinary But I can rewatch it twice or thice at once

Story wise mid but action wise good. I have one arguement if i have given a choice to rewatch either One Piece or Solo Levelling. Then I would definitely pick One Piece because it has everything from story to comedy to adventures and you will still enjoy it while Solo has only fighting in it. I was very impressed with Solo that i immediately read all its chapters within 2 days. Then, there was sequel of it with his son. But I did not read it because i knew the same fighting stuff would be there.

Tbh i also realized after reading solo levelling in 2days that it has no story. Eventually it gets annoying how effortlessly jinwoo smacks all the super strong villains. Villains lost their credibility because we knew no matter how strong they are, at the end they are going to get thrashed. While a good example for great villains is hxh, the character development of mereum, the frightening aura of pitou which gives you goosebumps are a treat to watch.
