Quick question. I have asked you in the past about a good set up for Deer camp so I'm glad you did this video. i live in South carolina and hunt mostly forest land so on a good weeks hunting trip I might move between 10 to 15 miles within that week. our winter temps rarely get below 20 degrees at night. Would you say that a modified plow point shelter would work just as well as the one you created? Or, would this have the better benefit of a long fire? I walk a lot when hunting and move camp often so staying as light as possible is a must. that's why I started saddle hunting 2 years ago. I love all you videos and want to take some of your classes . You and every instructor are awesome so please keep the videos coming . haVE A GREAT WEEK MAN

@Corporals Corner I'm wondering if eventually with this property you have, you'll make some part of it into a bushcraft / survival school kind of like what Dan Woljnak (coalcracker bushcraft) has got going on?

Don't give up on the cabin! Those 'low view ' vids are my favorite. Don't know why others are skipping them, but they educate more than any simple debris or tarp type build. There are thousands of simpletons showing how to put up a tarp, very few that can show how to quickly build a semi-perminent structure. Keep up the good work. Wait for your vid to drop every week. From an ex-army vet to an ex-marine.. Semper Fi 👍

I wish RU-vid wasn't messing with you so hard. I enjoyed the Thanksgiving one, and was looking forward to the cabin. That being said, I'll watch whatever you make. Your videos helped me through some hard times. Made my situation far more comfortable and better. For that, I'm grateful. I watch every video at least twice, btw. Keep doing what you do please. Still wanna see the cabin tho.

CC, to reply to your comment on us not wanting to see your cabin video because of low views and searches over Thanksgiving weekend... You are the RU-vid expert. I only know what I like to watch. I watch every single Corporals Corner video put up. But sometimes I don't watch them for 3-4 weeks because life gets in the way. But I always catch up on them ASAP. Sometimes I binge watch 3-4 in one weekend. I personally would love to watch you build a cabin. Like I said, you know what you're doing, I'm just along for the ride. Thanks for the hard work you put in, whatever you work on.

As an old Airborne Ranger Infantryman type (along with old Eagle Scout), I applaud the way you give us viewers innovative "Corporal Style" content each week. I went back to look at an old video of 5 Dollar tree survival items where you constructed a tripod in a more conventional manner to compare with the quick Corporal style tripod shown in this video. It just shows the dedication you give to the channel to show a wide variety of ways to use common items to meet your outdoor needs. Thanks and please keep up the good work.

@@recall5811nobody’s saying work for free, even at your current views you will be earning more than most. The only thing putting people off is you moaning about RU-vid all the time, just do your projects as you like and stop looking at the views, we can all see mentally how unhealthily it is for you. One big thing you are missing is diversifying your audience, if you post the same stuff all the time you will grow much slower, if you do the different builds even if they are less successful, it will bring in a new audience. Your old audience will come back eventually as long as you put out good content

When I retired I suddenly realized I had spent half of the money I made on chasing the amount of money I made. I never did like to run. Stop running and start living.
