Another great watch Matt, always something different in your videos mate, I really enjoy them. One piece of advice, for what it’s worth, I would have a few wire traces in my tackle box for when the Pike bite 👍👍

Some stunning footage there Matty, some great shots of the mist onvthe water etc and looks a mint place fir the Pike, Shame the bigger one got away but what a great spot eh 👍. Make sure that bug shirts in the pack for Canada 😀 although I bet its not too bad now over there. Atb Rick n Billydog

Lovely video. thats my backyard you’re in 😁 I live 10 mins from there, know every corner! Keep your eye out when you’re in that area, a few folks have seen Golden Eagles (they are resident a bit further a field but have been seen around there). There’s Osprey near where you were camped as well. And a shed load of Red Kites of course….Really enjoy your videos, every time you do one in this area I think I must up my own YT game given where I live 😅 … Keep exploring the area, there’s loads more amazing bits still to find!!! 😁

Top video Matt. We used to put loads of wet grass on little fires, when we went to Loch Lomond fishing in the 70's we had nothing but that and beer, :) Cheers Matt.

Thanks mate 😁 yeah so she's not a massive fan of the water tbh and I need to take one of seats out of the canoe to make space for her. I'm planning on getting her on canoe trips with me at some point tho 😀👌🏻 Yeah I don't like using deet especially when it's hot and you sweat. Sound nice, enjoy mate, cheers, Matt 👍🏻

Good to hear you talking to us a wee bit more, get the connection going. Don't forget a trace on your line if spinning though, stop them pesky pike taking your lures and them running round with it stuck in their mouths.

Haha thanks Martin! It's called a CNOC bag. There is two types depending on what water filter you have, so just make sure you pick the right one 😁👍🏻

Pretty certain those fish you lost are both pike just with the way they run! Get a little trace on Matt just for the safety of the pike mate I catch them often with lures caught up in them it’s pretty sad! Although not your fault your obviously targeting trout but they are greedy gits 😂 lovely looking spot tho! I’m addicted to canoe camping mate if I’m not camping with the canoe I just don’t enjoy it as much! Well done bud 👍

Hey this was a great jaunt Matt! I DO like the looks of those amok hammocks. A few of your fellow Canadian bushtubers use them. I just get really clastro when the bug net comes down on my face in my gathered end hammocks. Hey Matt is that stove there an uberleben? I ask for only because I have a couple emberlit stoves and it doesn’t come with holes in the bottom plate which sometimes is a help and a hindrance other times. Just wondering which stove that one is and how you like it. Take care man snd peace and health to you. NQU
