SOLO OVERNIGHT in JAPAN - with Ultra-light tent "Aeon Li": Midsummer camp with a compact setup 

Greetings, all the fellow solo campers! This time, I took "Aeon Li" ultra-light tent from Taprtent, and visited "KAREI KOGEN (鹿嶺高原) campground".

"Aeon Li" is a solo model of the Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF) tent series from Tarptent, an American tent manufacturer. The weight of the tent is just only 490 grams and you can put it easily in your backpack! This time, to cope with this ultra-light tent, I picked up lightweight gears to enjoy a compact solo camp. Actually, it was quite enjoyable to have a completely new experience of ultra-light setup, with which you can just climb up the hill of Karei Kogen without big hassles.
Also, this time I have minimized my filming gears as if I'm going to film my first movie with a minimal set of equipment. Maybe I will make another cut from the same footage as the 'Making' kind of version. But, running behind the footage of two more other camp nights, I guess I will have to set the priority over the things piled up on my desk first.
Now it's already mid-September, and the best camping season of the autumn and the winter is coming closer day by day. Though the pandemic situation is not cleared up yet, I hope you all would stay safe and healthy, while you can somehow find your way to enjoy some quality time in the wild.
