I live on a remote family ranch so I’m camping every day in a beautiful place in a cabin.Got WiFi-dish tv nice vw Passat 2014.I am getting stir crazy though, so I’m buying an older f150 4wd late 90s early 2000s, and plan to start hitting the road to see other paradises besides my own.Traveling is so important, in so many ways.The only constant in life is change, I need to embrace that concept and brake the mold I’m in , cheerz mav

Hey bud, cool set up. I use to have similar. Food for thought. In my new set up I moved all storage to one side. Now I can sit upright with low rise camper shell like yours. Imagine your long pull out with all your clothes and inside you can aim things towards you. Even cook in side in a pinch. I've been at this life style most of my life. 30 plus years. You find it's ever changing and you always find a better way. Stoked to see younger generation like your self down for the cause. Maybe will cross paths at a boat ramp one day. Take it light brother....

This kid lives such a wholesome lifestyle. It makes me wish I grew up like him in Minnesota or canada (MN might as well be canada) and developed all of his knowledge. People often say he is living off his family's money...but I don't buy it. Even if he was, it doesn't matter. You can have all the money in the world, but without the knowledge, what could you accomplish? Not alot (unless you pay someone to do the work for you, which defeats the entire purpose of the experience). This kid doesn't smoke or drink, and I see him drink more water in one video than I've drank in the last decade (I drink Gatorade and coffee, no soda but G-rade has more sugar than I'd like). I love this kid. Wish I knew more people like him. He could survive an apocalypse. He's the type of person city boys will be needing to find when the world goes dark.

I realize camping in the cold for winter sports/hunting etc., but as I grew older along with spending my life working outside.....I decided to chase 75 degrees as one old timer told me. You can't always hit the weather right, but you can make some educated guesses with technology and being flexible. Good luck Mav. I salute you for being an adventurer. All young people should get out there and have a great adventure and along the way, learn things you can't learn in school. You will be better for it. I like to throw a tarp on the ground first when cleaning out the car. Put everything on the tarp. Keeps everything clean and seems easier to visuslly organize with somehow.

Some advice from a canuck , keep a snow brush with you or in your house. You don't t want to have to open your snow covered door to grab it out of the vehicle. All the snow falls in.

Good stuff man, congrats on 100k. I would recommend more ventilation to keep the moisture down. Also a passive dehumidifier will help the moisture that your lil buddy is putting out from the propane.

Decently quick, I made it a mission to find him within a month or so after him and sobi split ways from ap bassing. Was my favorite guy on apbassing's channel and since have not watched any videos from Alex's channel unless it was to rewatch mav going up bow hunting and the few survival videos. He’s not doing too bad a year later and he’s went from 100,000 subscribers to 1 million. I know there’s a lot of people doing a RU-vid channel that pray for that amount of subscribers. He’s definitely doing something right. Congratulations young man! I do hope you have a back up plan though. I hope for all of you doing RU-vid it will last forever. Sometimes things like this don’t. If you’re young please get an education. Or learn a trade that’s marketable. It will devastate you if this all crashes and burns and then you have nothing to make a living on. Buddy heaters don’t detect CO but they have a low oxygen sensor.

Should paint those things, rattle can. seal it so you can wipe it down and it if gets wet it doesn't ruin it. Makes cleaning it easier too. Rubber mats on the bottom help as well.

Not trying to sound like a RU-vid know it all but with the Mr Heater Buddy carbon dioxide is not the only concern... Remember they deplete oxygen as well so you should have a window cracked for safety. I don't know how much that little one would use over the course of the night (and the truck cap probably has enough air gaps/leaks) but better safe than sorry. I always watch your vlogs. They inspire me. I find the videos that you show detail of how you actually camp in the back of the truck and how to store your gear the best. My other favorites are your cooking vlogs. I have actually tried a few. I have a stocked pond on my farm so I can get fresh fish. Not as exotic as yours LOL but i can get fish.
