Tip ; to range your target using only your scope, aim and see how big the target is, using the vertical and horizontal markers around your crosshair. They can also be used to determine how far to lead with moving targets or how high or low to compensate for elevation or bullet drop. Most assault rifles without scope are set to 300m, meaning at 300m the bullet hits where you aim. Target closer,bigger, aim lower... target further,aim higher. So, take a zombie as target. Range him at 100m with a rangefinder,then aim at him using sniper scope, notice how many stripes wide or big he is. Do the same at 200 300 and 400m etc etc and you will get a sense of how far the target is without ranging. Pretty soon you will get a feeling for it. Try pvp prison for 2 full hours and you'll be a gunslinging hero in no time, don't forget to finetune your aiming settings there BEFORE joining official for the first time. And you could stick your own vertical and horizontal stripes on your tv screen if the scope has none, if you do this ,do look in the mirror and say, you are a tryhard while smiling and shaking your head hehehe. Low key, DayZ is great in standalone, I could only imagine playing with mods.

What's the best server for base building? For example, has alot of attachments/furniture kits/etc. Also decently populated if possible

Why does everyone that plays dayz get a kill. Search the whole server for enemies then loot? If you didn't find somebody then you could've saved so much time by just looting. Also going across the map to look at a building? Don't play dayz but these videos are always interesting except for map trekking after kills

I bet you have killed me in the past. Not that you would remember. Whats your body count now? I have killed 3 people out of legit self defence. I have died maybe 1000 times now. I does not pay to be nice anywhere on the inner map. Just logging in and doing a quick sweep before running out of your area you get sniped in an area that should have 0 people. I never get shot up close like these fights. Its always a one shot that leaves me to bleed out way before I get looted. Or a god forsaken lucky zombie triple trap.

the amount of lag this server had in this video makes it less enjoyable..
