There is a video from this channel - PRTVGOA. His engine noise issue got resolved. Looks like it is a cam chain tensioner issue. I have to get it fixed in my 450 too, it is quite unbearable.
As I said earlier i too was facing all the issues you have…so last monday i went to service centre and they took 2 days and resolved the come set noise by adjusting the torque of cone set…and engine noise they said it is normal as you ride and engine is getting settled that tappet noise will be reduced…but still the brake noise is there🥲🥲Apart from that I feel overall the bike satisfys me👍🏻👍🏻mainly check the cone set ASAP bcoz long rides are risky with that looser cone set adjustment…nearly one thread was looser than the recommended
@@lingeshvlogs3871still tappet noise is something making like a buzz which is getting some kind of irritation while riding for longer time…It’s like there is no smoothness on the engine
Hai bro , I got himalayan 450 last month before first service their was some noise in handle bar cone issue I thought I showed them they have tightened the torque bolt on handle bar and marked with marker after that noise gone , after one month again some sound coming from handle bar don't know the issue while sudden breaking on front side the sound is coming the position on torque bolt not moved still in confusion cone set or something else. Are u getting some sound while doing sudden front brake ?
Yes brother not sure how it is coming again even after it is tighten but now my bike is in SC they are checking the route cause to eliminate it , let c . Will definitely update brother
@@lingeshvlogs3871 I have an Himayalan 450. No need to worry about the engine sound. It's the original noise and its completely normal. There are tappet noise issues reported. After the first service the service persons have adjusted the tappets in engine for better performance and mileage. This sound will be predominant during the initial 10 Minutes of drive. Periodically check if this tappet noise increases. One more thing which I noticed in this video is how you shift the gears. 90kmph on 5th gear can be little harder to drive and engine require more power to push forward. So try to focus on that. If you are driving at lower gears at higher speeds it can heat up the engine and produce vibrations which can result in this type of noise.
@@akshayadore9276 thanks for that ,I happy that it is normal for you , but just for info it is not tapped noise bcos we have adjusted it & even replaced the chain tensioner but the sound has increased . so the bike in Sc for past 1 week . Big Things r happening which will update in coming videos. About the gear shift yes true but in my case sound is different not bcos that ,will update once I get the solution 👍
Hi, just started to watch your video from yesterday, because yesterday i took my delivery of Himalayan. My concern is almost same, as the speed increases as gear changes that tak tak noise is there. But as per manual we ride like 10-20 1st gear, 20-30 2nd gear etc there is less noise. ru-vid.comvqZE76VQWck?si=8zjbGfTJDZO_VWGI
Hi brother, thanks for your support. just try to follow the rpm alone during runn in period.. 1st 500 kms max 4000 rpm & then till 2k kms 6000 rpm max.. initially just observe everything in the bike ,don't get worried of any sound once the engine got set then u need to find the difference
