Fun watch, Having Nick Fury in your deck against the destroyer was a hard choice but I might have done it just that once. Your deck would have been alot smaller. I would also buy every maria hill you could to buy more stuff. The 8 cost heros sat there forever.

When you rescue a bystander you grab the top one off the stack. Black Widow can be very powerful if you have other heroes that can rescue bystanders. That red Black Widow that you recruited towards the end would have been worth at least 6 attack if I was watching correctly. You have many times when you could have been rescuing a bystander by reversing the order that you played Nick Fury's and Black Widow's tech cards.

Ahh, you're kidding me. I don't know how I missed that. Thanks for the heads up, I now need to go re-evaluate how I've been playing this game. :D Time for a do-over!

At 30:00, when you defeat a villain for free you still need to resolve the "fight" effect. I'm a new player so watching your "oops" sent me to the Google machine and helped me to learn the rules. Thanks!

Great video! We bought this a few years ago and played it a lot. Just picked up the Guardians expansion pack but kind of forgot how to play. Even though evil prevailed--this helped a lot.

How replayable is this game in solo mode? Right now I cannot play with anyone else. So I am looking for a game to play by myself.

What program and camera do you use for these videos?

I use Adobe Premiere Elements for the majority of my videos. I have a bunch of cameras that I use - for the overhead of the board, I'm usually using a Canon Vixia HFR80. I also have a Canon Vixia HFR800, a Nikon DSLR that I use on occasion, and when necessary, an iphone 11 pro max, but I've yet to upload anything I've shot on that. I also have additional lighting that I use as well as lapel and shotgun mics.

On your scheme twists....should you be discarding heros from your hand, not your HQ??

I just took a look at the rules on BGG and for solo it says: "Whenever you complete a Scheme Twist effect, KO a Hero from the HQ of cost 6 or less." I know some rules changed after the base game, perhaps that is one of them?

@@GeekCityUSA Advanced Solo rules (that appear in Dark City) says that in solo when a scheme twist is completed you put a Hero from the HQ under the Hero Deck and replace it, it is so you would not loose faster indeed in schemes that count the number of KO heroes.

@@FernandoLx thanks for clearing this up! I only have the base set and one expansion and was playing a scheme that would ko heros, so I was about to lose in like 10 mins. I couldn't figure out if I had misunderstood something or if the rules were flawed. This makes a lot more sense. Thanks!
