Great video man. Who doesn't appreciate a Thermite tricking video? I should play him more often than I should, usually I'm Ace. Only because no one ever chooses Hard Breacher's.

@@Ash-my4gf guns are just as important as ability. And ace can be tricked. Ace requires 2 to just open a hatch and to open a wall like therm requires 2-3.

Some useful ones on border: From east stairs, if the barricade out to east stairs balcony is still intact, you can place thermite on the left side (from inside the building) to blow open into offices, which teams will often try to hold when defending armory. Another one, you can place thermite outside on the barricade (left hand side) of passport to blow open into customs.
@12:30 I would usually push from hatch if the site was in Cash room and do the same thermite breach as shown, and it would make Defenders hold angles on the outside breach instead of Logistics wall.

you forgot Kanal 2nd Floor. You can do the same corner wall trick on Main Breach for that site if you enter the entryway and thermite the wall off to the side and also those corner walls in the Hallway for either side too.
@@alyttleton For that, a pretty hard counter would be usually Osa deploying her Shield to block the feet holes quickly and covering the stairs door. Should give Thermite enough coverage to do that for Main.
When I play with my friends I've used to hate to use Thermite because of how boring he is. But now, after this guide, I changed my mind! You can be very creative with his ability and I'm very happy about it. Now I consider myself as a Thermite main. Can't wait to play him again!
Great video man although i would just use hibana for the hatches cause you can do the same thing with her just shoot 2 pellets near the hatch to get rid of the shock and then use 4 pellets to blow open the hatch
4:54 If you put the charge the other way with narrow side pacing wall i think it will open it higher. This has been a thing for awhile! It even works if you put the charge on unreinforced adjacent walls to the one you want to open than you don't have to vault, just dont put the charge to close to the reinforced wall cause the electricity will destroy it if too close. Why does everything look so freaking wide on PC? 😂

3:02 I can not stress enough on recommending that you set your charge on your side of the wall (right side from where he is standing) because this will keep your thermite charge safe from being shot at in Meeting room.
i love therm and use most of these tricks but never thought to use him in coastline those were genius for a quick plant in penthouse thumbs up in comment box and thumbs up on button! 👍 great vid
I am very impressed by the Kanal trick, my friend and I are going to try running thermite and sledge for kayaks. Both go above and get the hatch and pipes wall, then go to trench, nade out the dude in bathroom. Take control of pipes and have sledge to back above to play vert, thermite will smoke out the site and get the plant down and you can hold it from above and from pipes.
I went from a thermite main to a fuze main and a lot of these tricks work great as fuze due to them both requiring a good way to get behind walls or getting great angles for hitting other sides of walls. And i still play thermite all the time. His utility is so versatile due to his ability to do tricks like these. Also fuze can also solo the foosball/closet wall on Oregon by placing a fuze charge so it shoots the pucks under the floor of foosball from closet, destroying any bandit changes because luckily the floor is short enough
On Kanal, if you Thermite near wall instead of Hatch when their basement, you open top half of Stairs wall, allowing some nasty peeks, especially with an Osa

On the Kanal ... just across the main stairs You can do the same above the wall trick From maps room It'll create a very strong hold angle from stairs all the way to under the hatch
Another Thermite trick on Kanal is in the same room where you broke the hatch. You can place a Thermite charge on the floor in front of the soft wall on the floor and you can open up a line of site through, into the room from stairs.
good video. surprised you didn't show the one using the passport barricade on border. that's my favorite one since even though it's existed for a while people still don't shoot out the barricade to stop it
Love the vid. You don't have too many THermite players nowadays anyways and those who do play him usually dont know how. Great spots for people trying to get better with Thermite.
@13:40 that animation is a glitch. You can use that animation to jump into site. I do not know if it works everywhere but if you do what you just did in the gym side you just glitch and fall into the hallway in site
@@nikoraasu6929 although the Ak is good, you can’t sleep on the 556. The destructive capability on the therm charge is crazy and you get two of them. I solo queue and therm is always the breacher I choose
There’s another on kanal. Putting one on the floor up against the wall in the room with the hatch will open the stair facing wall downstairs. Do that with osa and have osa go on the stairs. OP because it stops the team from being able to play an entire site
I was going to comment this exact trick it confuses the defenders every time. It also gives you an angle to kill the guy playing by the trash bin underneath the main stairs
On Kanal 2ndF you can go in the mini hallway beside the main walls near top red stairs by the default cam and put ur thermite there to get part of the main wall the leads outside
Two more plays just pop in my head as I was watching the video and that is to counter mira on Chalet basement site by thermiting it from above and the same for mira on Costline in the kitchen. Definitely gonna check out who else you can counter as thermite
the last oregon thou, you can probably rappel up and look at their feet also, ty for this video, i think i might need to go back to the basic like thermite, i keep experience with my only party having a hard breacher random just rushing like ash. time to do it myself.
I chose to start maining Monty in February last year FINALLY, they get a dexterity buff that makes complete sense to me ;) lol but if Monty isn't available thermite is a solid second choice for me, I mean the 556 is so creamy, gimme a break lol
there is another one on Kanal if you go in the server room above the connecter in map room you can thermite the wall to open a LOS or if a anybody is standing such as a mira it will kill them with the blast
I've only once had the opportunity to use the trick from break in to initiation on Theme Park, and my whole stack laughed at the excited noise I made when i saw it was on 😂
Fyi for the plat and up thermites they shootout the wall so you cant trick on theme park. But depends on how much they leave you can still pull it off. Oh and in prep get a drone in the sink. Oh and you will get runout on
The first time I learned exothermics could open walls on the other side is on club house. I opened up construction and made a "rotate" into logisitic by mistake which got me killed.
Tryed to do something similar with the coastline hatch but I used tryed using habana for a line of sight into kitchen but the one time I try to breach the wall it’s electrified
Thank you. Future video suggestion about behavior. How to deal with intentional TKers, mic abusers, keep a good reputation. New players need to stop telling ppl they are new to the game or sorry for messing up. Dealing with pressure when all eyes are on you as the last friendly. Just some ideas
