What beautiful country you’re crossing and you’re showing us it in all it’s glory. Thank you. I’ll be heading north in a week or 2, and I’m taking a leaf out of your book and not travelling for 6 or 8 hours a day on this trip. I’m going to take the time to appreciate our land and to spend time in the moment. I’ll be wildly me at a slow pace. Keep the vlogs coming, I love them!
As always, thank you for your kind words, Rachel! 🥰 Oh, I love the shorter travel days. I try to do no more than 4-5 hours driving in a day if possible. Around 2-3 hours my preferred time. 🙊 That way I don’t feel like I have to rush in the morning, and when I arrive at my destination I still have time before dark to explore and get familiar with my surroundings, plus have time out to relax. 🧡🚎✨So awesome to know that you’re living the vlogs. I’m looking forward to putting together the next one! It will be beautiful Alice Springs! X
Thank you so much, Erin! 🥰 Super happy to hear that you’re loving the videos! And yes, I can’t complain… feels so surreal to think I’m finally living this digital nomad lifestyle, chasing the sun. ☺️🙌🏼☀️🧡

The school bus i brought came from the Pimba area I was told. Your side door , Did you fit that or was it already fitted. Like the side table idea. Keep the videos coming
Ah, Pimba. Interesting. I was very lucky as the side door was already fitted when I bought the bus. It is great. 👌🏼 Thanks for watching my videos! 😊🙏🏼✨
I’m loving your videos, am hoping to do this in 2024 with my son during his prep year so homeschooling along the way. I’m trying to find as many female traveller videos as possible. Do you go back home in between the trips? I’m from the Sunshine Coast so thinking of doing two months around NSW, coming home and then doing two months around Queensland etc. Do you feel safe travelling on the open road by yourself?
So happy to hear that you’re loving my videos! ☺️ I travelled for 2 months and then came home again. I actually find I do best with smaller trips too and from home. Ideally I’d travel 3-4 weeks and then come home for a few weeks and then head off again; but that’s just what works for me and my lifestyle. I crave routine and find I get that most when I’m at home. I did feel safe travelling solo, but I did stay at caravan parks most of the time, and I felt safe in my bus because it has security screens on the window. I think back to times when I used to swag it on the side of the road - I didn’t sleep easy doing that! I think so long as your smart and trust your gut, you should be ok. ✨
Hi Wayne, great question! I intentionally hit an aircon installed in my bus, so when I’m plugged into a powered site, I can leave Coco in the bus while I do a tour. I find she’s fine in here for up to around 5 hours. She knows that the bus is home and that I’ll be coming back to it, so I’m lucky she’s more than happy to stay there. I obviously make sure she has plenty of water as well. I also have security screens on the bus windows, so if I’m not plugged into power I can leave the windows open and pop the vent in the roof open.
I have security screens on the bus windows, so I leave her in the bus with the windows open. I’m lucky that she’s happy being left in there. I think she feels like it’s her safe space because it’s familiar and she knows I’ll always be coming back to the bus. I also intentionally installed an aircon so if I’m at a powered site, I can leave aircon on if it’s really hot outside.
